About Me

A little about myself.
I grew up in capital city of Uzbekistan, Tashkent.
First picked up a violin when I was 5 years old, as well as musical theory and piano.
Then went to study in a Specialized Musical School/Academy and Lyceum in Tashkent. And somehow found my way into an austrian conservatory in Vienna and then Eisenstadt.
I am currently finishing my Bachelor Degree in Performance Art/Violin in Joseph-Haydn-Privathochschule.

I am a Greek violinist, originally from Thessaloniki. I have lived in Vienna since 2009 and completed my studies at the MUK Private University in the class of Lidia Baich. Before that, I studied at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow.

It's especially important to me to offer my students the opportunity to experience music and express themselves in this beautiful language during lessons. Since I myself come from the Russian school, the basic principles of the violin are combined with beautiful sound, expressiveness, and a musical character. And, of course, humor is a must!

My model is the “Flexible” model, which means you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
Please note: Cancellations within 24 hours before the lesson are subject to Apprentus policies, requiring payment of 50% of the lesson fee.

• Unexcused cancellations or cancellations made after the fact are not eligible for a make-up lesson or refund; the lesson will be considered as “given.”

• Lateness:
Students are expected to contact the teacher by phone if they are running late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after the scheduled start time, the lesson will take place within the remaining time. Additional time to compensate for student lateness is not guaranteed.
If the teacher arrives late, additional time will be offered after the scheduled lesson time to make up for the delay.

• Scheduling for weekly lessons on a fixed weekday:
If the teacher is unable to be in Vienna during a given week, the student will be informed in advance so that a make-up lesson can be arranged.

• In case of last-minute cancellations by the teacher due to illness or a family emergency, a make-up lesson will be offered. If preferred, the make-up lesson can also be held online.
If a student cancels a rescheduled make-up lesson, that lesson will be forfeited.

Hi, my name is Atsu and I'd love to pass on my knowledge, my experiences and my passion to you! I started playing the violin when I was three and up until now I've studied with Fuminori Shinozaki and Simon Wiener, amongst others.

I gladly offer my assistance to you, so that you can achieve your goals efficiently. Here, it's important for me to discover your strengths together and help you develop them further. Of course, I will make sure that you have fun and you stay motivated:) Probably what's special about my lesson is that we're also going to play duets, which should help you learn to listen to other musicians and acquire the skills needed for playing in an ensemble.

In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms. Hello, my name is Pia and I'm a flautist. :) I started learning the flute at the age of 8. I loved it right away, so after music school, I continued my studies at the conservatory in Maribor (Slovenia). I then studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz.
