As a former Geography teacher for a few years at the start of my career and now as a young retired ex-Chief of Police and perfectly bilingual Dutch-French, I offer a daily availability to help out during the day where it is needed. I have the necessary pedagogical skills to help raise the knowledge of others to a higher level and to fill certain gaps. This can be for tutoring / explaining Geography and other Sciences to pupils / pupils to Dutch language lessons for adults and (extra) lessons in other languages for pupils and pupils in function of improving their language skills. If there is a need for it, I can of course also provide an explanation of the Belgian state and regional / community structures and their role and functioning, but also provide meaningful interpretation / explanation of relevant / useful criminal aspects of application in our society.

I am 22 years old, I have been speaking Dutch since the third kindergarten and English since the fifth primary. I have already completed several internships in secondary schools. If your Dutch, English or German could use some improvement, you want to learn one of these languages, prepare for an exam or learn one of these languages for any other reason, then you have come to the right place and these lessons are perfect. Depending on your own level, we first look together at what you specifically need and then the lessons are tailored to that. So it is no problem if you are a beginner or a bit more advanced in Dutch, English or German. The lessons will consist of grammar, idiom, spoken as well as written texts and of course you are expected to do homework so that the lessons run smoothly and you reach your goal as quickly as possible.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
