My goal as a teacher is to help my students achieve their own goals and to help them learn according to their own needs. Hello! My name is Amy. I’m a native English speaker from the United States currently living in Italy. I love languages and have always enjoyed studying English. Now, I want to share that interest by helping others learn to speak a new language. As I’m currently taking classes to learn Italian, I understand firsthand how it feels to learn a language.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a concentration in writing and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science. I also have earned TEFL certification.

I’ve worked as an online tutor for several years, tutoring students of varying ages and with varying levels of English. Other than that, I’ve worked at school libraries in the United States, as a writing tutor during college, and briefly as an assistant at a law firm.

This course is for those who want to start learning the English language or enhancing their language, in addition to the courses they are already taking. Help with homework is also possible.
English being my second language as I am Lebanese, I used to study in school in English (Math, Sciences, Philosophy). The teaching of this language is for me a pleasure to share with you.
