During a mathematics or scientific branch course, the student has specific questions or subjects to address (ranging from compulsory school to the end of the gymnasium in maturity/reinforced math) in order to fill in the gaps in the subject . If he wants to get ahead of the program or needs help with homework/exercises, this is also possible.

My name is Noreen, I'm a second-year bachelor's student at HEC Lausanne, and I tutor elementary school students. I'm passionate about sharing the many learning techniques I've developed, and I would be delighted to use them to help students progress with confidence. Patient and calm by nature, I don't hesitate to rephrase or re-explain concepts several times so that each student can understand at their own pace. Lessons can be conducted in either French or English, depending on your needs. I look forward to meeting you and discussing your goals!

As a Master of Data Science student at EPFL, mathematics is an important part of my academic curriculum. During my studies, I had the opportunity to act as a student assistant at EPFL in various courses in the Computer Science section.
These experiences allowed me to develop a teaching spirit. I really enjoy passing on my knowledge and helping students develop their reasoning skills.

My goal is to make people love mathematics, offer an intuitive understanding of the topics covered in order to guide students towards better results and greater autonomy.

As a Political Economy student at the University of Fribourg, with a high school diploma in Biology and Chemistry, I offer in-home tutoring tailored to each student's level. I help students with homework, test and exam preparation, and also provide supplementary lessons to address specific gaps in knowledge or reinforce learning.

Fluency, pronunciation and impeccable writing in English.
My tutoring services also extend to History, Mathematics, Economics and Law, and Biology and Chemistry.

Serious, punctual, motivated, and dedicated, I strive to motivate students, providing structure and study methods to help them become more independent. In math, I love finding solutions and strategies, and I can help with reading and understanding problems, which are often a source of difficulty for students who otherwise have great potential in mathematics.

Third-year computer science student offers homework help/refresher courses for science subjects (Mathematics, computer science, biology, physics, chemistry).

My approach is to first understand the student's prior knowledge and solidify the foundations before moving on to more complex concepts.

I can give homework or not, I adapt to the situation and the needs of each student.

As a final year Bachelor of Engineering student at EPFL, I offer private lessons or support, or homework help adapted to the level and needs of each student.

I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, French, and English, primarily at the beginner to intermediate level, from elementary school to high school. Lessons can focus on understanding concepts, preparing for assessments, solving exercises, or simply regaining confidence in the subject.

I also offer support in Analysis I for higher education students, particularly to review theoretical concepts, understand methods and practice exercises.

My goal is to make concepts more accessible by adapting to each student's pace and prioritizing real understanding over rote learning.

As a mathematics student at EPFL, after a scientific preparatory class (PCSI) at Lycée Henri-IV in Paris, I have been giving private math lessons since 2024.

For who ?
– Secondary I (CO) students who have dropped out or want to consolidate their foundations
– High school students, including the specific mathematics and physics option, and preparation for the baccalaureate
– First-year students (analysis, linear algebra) at EPFL, UNIL or HES
– Students in the French system (middle school, high school, baccalaureate)

How is a course going?
I start by identifying the real difficulty, because it often stems from a misunderstanding of a previous concept rather than the current chapter. I then explain it simply, and the student practices with exercises until they can do them independently. We can work on upcoming homework and tests, review entire chapters, or prepare intensively for an exam.

The goal: improved grades, but above all a student who regains confidence and becomes independent.

Courses are also available in English, for students from international schools.

I offer weekly, in-person support, with lessons tailored to each student's level and objectives.
The course is entirely dedicated to the student: explanations, exercises, preparation for tests and exams, and review of concepts that pose difficulty.
Thanks to my experience at EPFL in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, I can bring an approach particularly focused on reasoning, problem-solving and good working methods.

My method:
• Understanding rather than memorizing: we build the reasoning step by step so that the student can truly understand the material.
• Train effectively: we work on exercises adapted to the student's level and gradually increase the difficulty.
• Gaining autonomy: the goal is for the student to be able to gradually solve exercises on their own and develop good working methods.

Lessons can be organized regularly each week, with a frequency adapted to the student's needs.

Write to me to discuss your goals and check availability.
