The beginning and intermediate stages of learning both guitar and english can be a little tricky and feel a bit slow. I employ a very practical and individually tailored method to allow students to learn in a way that feels natural and fun.

I note in writing - correction sheet - vocabulary, grammar rules to study or review, at the end of the course the vocabulary and grammar rules are recalled. Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

-Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear
- Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords
- Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand
- Learning of different pieces of your choice
- Left hand control exercises, speed and precision
- Learning arpeggios
- Work around muscle memory
- Learning improvisation, musical play with others
- Ear training: use your ears to find chords, melodies, sounds and techniques used
-Spend a pleasant moment of exchange, without unnecessary institutional pressure, while obtaining concrete results
-Understand and discover the many facets of an exciting and user-friendly instrument
- Benefit from personalized advice on your posture and certain pitfalls to avoid when starting alone
-Adjust and clarify your self-taught knowledge
- Learn tablatures / tabs & in English.

Note :
- Possibility to use the guitar available on site, during the test phase.
- As our teacher is also a singing teacher, it is possible to combine the two disciplines: guitar + vocal instrument, and to work on synchronization, style and accuracy.
- Possibility of offering this course (birthday, party, Christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice.

If you want to learn grammar or master your letter writing or comprehension skills, we will work on that. In case you want to maintain the level of your understanding and oral abilities, we will improve that.

Hello! I have been teaching English for five years, to adults and children alike. I offer classes that are uniquely adapted to the students needs and their interests. My aim is to build my student's confidence, by following their line of inquiry — engaging in a rich, and increasingly challenging dialogue with the individual.

My classes are for children and teenagers, who want to:
. Develop and widen their vocabulary;
. Need help preparing for an exam, a paper or an important interview;
. Gain confidence in spoken English;
. Attain a fluent level of spoken and written English

We will begin by identifying the student's greatest interests — those subjects they are most curious about and topics that stimulate them. These topics will be "stimulators", fueling conversations and language activities that the student themselves will eventually lead. Then, we will identify the student's biggest worries regarding the English language — where they are confused, or tend to make mistakes. This will form the workshop part of the lesson, focused on overcoming tricky grammatical mistakes and revising more complex linguistic and phonetic errors.

I also offer the possibility of following a Cambridge exam orientated syllabus, such as Family and Friends, Cambridge Starters, Movers, Flyers, or B1, B2.

Qui suis-je?

Je m’appelle Anatole, j’ai 18 ans, je viens de m’installer à Paris après avoir vécu à l’étranger depuis mes douze ans, au Liban et en Lituanie. J'étais donc immergé dans la langue anglaise toute mon adolescence, que ce soit à travers mes groupes d’amis, les films que je regardais ou la quantité de livres que j’ai pu m’approprier. En terminale, j’ai effectué l’examen Cambridge et j'ai pu décrocher un niveau C1 frôlant le C2, en d’autres termes je peux interagir en anglais à un niveau très académique et mon éventail de vocabulaire avoisine celui d’un natif. Par la suite, j'ai effectué une année de césure durant laquelle j’ai notamment accompagné des jeunes avec leurs devoirs d’anglais et ai pu les voir progresser à travers l’année. Je me réjouis d’avance de pouvoir aider des élèves quel que soit leur niveau sur Paris, mes compétences d’accompagnement s’adaptant aussi bien aux débutants qu’aux plus avancés. À très vite :)
