About Me
My name is Raveesh, and I'm a certified yoga teacher (RYT 500), I did my training from the Yoga institute, India(the oldest organized yoga school in the world).My interest in yoga started from my home, learning some asanas and pranayam from my mother. Yoga is more than just the postures, but it's more of a lifestyle. I have been on the yogic path for quite a few years. I have a few students that I teach online and also teach at Ananda Valley, Portugal, have also been part of the teaching team in various 200hrs TTC courses in Portugal and France

Having worked on board cargo ships with a multi nationals, have helped me in opening up my mind.However, I was seeking more in life than that job, and following the yogic lifestyle has a transformation in my life and I would like to share my knowledge and experience now as an yoga teacher. I do teach online. I did my yoga teacher training mostly to have a balance in my body and mind and did not have intentions of teaching. But during my course there was a group of friends who were also learning a basic course told me that they were getting bored and wishes they had more challenging postures. Transcendental Embodiment (TE) is the result of three years of research and development. Merging from a movement philosophy research entitled Behind & Beyond, to its phenomenological understanding. The metaphysical unity of the tangible and intangible bodies expounds on the undeniable relationships between those in the physical realm. The tangible body (the material vehicle), the intangibles bodies (psychological, emotional, energetical, and spiritual). Hi, I'm Daphne — a passionate yogini, certified RYT 200 since 2016. My background is in Hatha yoga, and these days, I'm deeply immersed in the alignment-focused practice of Iyengar yoga.

I’m Austrian, grew up in Japan, and now live in Malta with my two young children. I speak English, German, and Japanese. Daily meditation (Triratna style) is an essential part of my life and deeply influences my teaching. I believe yoga is a journey inward, not a performance.

I discovered yoga not once, but twice — each time in a way that transformed my life.
🧭 The First Discovery — Yoga as a Way of Life
In my late twenties, while backpacking through North India, I found myself in Rishikesh —
not knowing it was one of the world’s most sacred places for yoga. There, I trained with inspiring teachers in Hatha and Iyengar yoga,
including Ashish Sharma. I joined a retreat at the Yoga-Gang Centre in Old Rajpur, and for the first time, truly understood yoga as more than physical movement —
it was a philosophical, mindful approach to life.
🩺 The Second Discovery — Yoga as Healing
Years later, after giving birth, I suffered from intense postnatal back pain.
I couldn’t even do basic poses. After seeing a chiropractor, I slowly returned to my mat.
With consistent Iyengar practice, within a few months, my pain was gone.
This experience showed me the therapeutic power of yoga — how it can heal and restore the body from within.

Political Belief Systems: An Introduction to IdeologyEveryone who engages with politics (which is to say, everyone) has an ideology. But not everyone is conscious of- let alone consistent in their ideology. In fact, most people’s conscious politics are nothing more than an inconsistent aesthetic. But anyone who has a world they long to see owes it to themselves to at least be self aware of their own ideology, and they should probably also familiarize themselves with others as well. I can help on both fronts.
This 10-session class serves as an introduction to the concept of political ideology. We will begin with a brief overview to various major academic theories of ideology, before moving on to a taxonomical survey of different ideological genuses and families, both “thick-centered” ideologies, that is, ideologies with a comprehensive core specific enough that they can stand on their own as it were, such as liberalism, conservatism, socialism, and fascism, and “thin centered” ideologies, which have much broader and hence much less specific cores, and hence must attach themselves to other thick centered host ideologies in order to fully manifest themselves, such as populism, nationalism, feminism, and ecologism.
