About Me

Ballet is my passion and I would love to be able to share my knowledge and love of ballet with students around the world. I can help you improve your all around technique as well as help you grow your artistic abilities.

Education

I began my ballet training at Logrea Dance Academy in Ossinging, NY, then at 14 I decided I needed more serious training and got accepted to SLK ballet in NYC where I studied for a year. During the summers I would participate in the Summer intensives with the Bolshoi Academy, from which I got picked to begin studying there. I graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in 2022 with a diploma in ballet choreography and teaching ballet.

I have studied and worked with many incredible people in the ballet world including Anna Antonicheva, Maya Evgenevna and Slawomir Wozniak. I am currently a soloist with the Varna State Opera.

Do you love dance and want to improve your technical and artistic skills? I am here to help you surpass yourself! ;) Professional dancer, choreographer and teacher, I am creative, empathic, dynamic, and versatile.

Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO.
Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment).

My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia. Also, I had the opportunity to dance for haute couture houses during Fashion Week in Paris.

I teach contemporary dance, technical floorwork (floor work), contact dance and classical dance. My classes focus on mindfulness, musicality, harmonization of energy flows, improvisation, muscle strengthening and coaching in choreographic composition for competitions, exams, galas, and weddings.

Classes, choreography and staging! in person or virtually

Are you going home and want to do something special? Let's do it together, whether it's a dance, a performance, or whatever you want—alone, with your partner, family, bridesmaids, or whoever you want. There are two options: I'll teach you how to dance the genre you're going to dance plus the choreography, or I'll just teach you the choreography. It's up to you.

The cost of creating choreographies depends on their duration (in addition to the cost of the class and/or rehearsal).

To begin to connect, assimilate and experiment with new KNOWLEDGE, the most IMPORTANT thing is the body, the attitude, perseverance and a great pinch of confidence!
I always like to approach the codes of different dance disciplines, based on structures that work on the physical, rhythmic, and creative aspects.
There is an idea that Tango is difficult to learn, and of course if we approach it with that label, it will be that way. Starting from the main concept of tango, WALKING, something that we all do most of the time, dancing tTANGO is within everyone's reach.🤗
Another very important point is the way to assimilate and understand it 😉😅
❤️‍🔥What will the classes be like, you ask?
I'll tell you a little bit, we are going to develop the structure in the work of weight changes, the step, projection of the walk, the pivot, understanding the kinesphere individually and as a couple translated into the hug, the turns and the spiral torso to understand the momentum in various exercises, the eights so famous in tango, the basic step and universal exit, walks with the concept of lanes and much more from various sequences that familiarize you with the technical needs to be able to perform the steps without leaving aside the dynamics, pulse, accent and compas of the tango. Everything will be raised in the background in a more organic way. It's not just about learning individual steps, and then...what do we do 🧐? It is not the form that should take the leading role, but the way in which you express that form.
We will also let your creative and playful side be part of the process, through a tool that I consider very valuable, which is improvisation 👌 since it allows you to find your own style and recognize your strengths and weaknesses to continue growing in your passion for dance.
With all these tools, entering the world of more complex sequences and why not, creating your own, will be one more step and not an impossible challenge to achieve.🤩
Don't forget that the steps that are known today and a large part of the sequences emerged from a restless and creative mind, which explored synonymous with IMPROVISE❗️

I have been teaching since 2012 and successfully transitioned to online instruction in 2019, building a loyal and engaged community of students in Brazil. As a member of the Brazilian theatre group Coletivo MÓ, I specialize in physical theatre techniques inspired by masters such as Luís Otávio Burnier, Jerzy Grotowski, Eugenio Barba, Kazuo Ohno, Tatsumi Hijikata, and Tadashi Endo. My practice also incorporates elements of Butoh dance and clow, creating a rich, multidimensional approach to performance, creativity, and self-expression.
