Hi, my name is Siddhi and I'm here to help you learn Korean. I'm a certified Korean Language Trainer and I’m currently taking classes on online mode. I have been teaching Korean for over 3 years now and I’ve taught a wide range of students, including children, teenagers, and adults.

My adult students are from different professional backgrounds and I enjoy integrating relevant topics into our classes so that you will be able to use them in daily conversations. I try to make the classes a fun and immersive language experience as I believe, that the best way of learning a language is to have the student speak as much as possible so that they feel more comfortable using it in different types of contexts and experiences. My classes are also customized, catering to the student's needs after assessing their proficiency at the language. Different methods like audio-visual learning, reading and speaking are used as well to assist the learning process.

The language beginners should start with learning easy and simple expressions to get familiar with a foreign language so that they don't give up and can enjoy learning step by step. This course is designed for beginners who can read or write Korean words and who want to learn basic everyday Korean expressions. Students will learn fundamental expressions, vocabularies, and idioms, etc. Some materials will be used for lessons such as a textbook, pdf files, mp3 files, flashcards, pictures, and video clips, etc. Students will learn the correct expressions and pronunciation and have opportunities to do a role-play and practice speaking Korean. I am a big fan of Korean dramas, and I will use them as examples to show you how Korean is spoken in real life. This will help us develop a deeper understanding of the language and its nuances.

I will teach you how to speak Korean in both formal and informal settings, so that you can understand real Korean more effectively. My lessons are primarily designed for those who wish to improve their conversational Korean skills, and I will teach you how to speak in a fluent and natural way. Additionally, I will provide you with many expressions and phrases commonly used by native speakers to help you sound more like one.

Hello! 안녕세요! My name is Aki and I will soon graduate with a bachelor's degree in "Korean Studies" at Leiden University, part of which I spent at Sogang University in South Korea. During my studies, I mainly focus on pronunciation and conversation. However, during my stay in Korea, I noticed a big difference between "textbook Korean" and the Korean that people speak in everyday life. In my lessons, I try to keep this difference as small as possible and make it sound as natural as possible by focusing on conversations and modern vocabulary. We work with grammar, vocabulary and conversations around an overarching theme.
Although I have a basic package for beginners, I find it very important to look at the goals of the student. If you have specific goals or suggestions such as understanding K-pop songs, K-dramas or achieving Topik level 1-2, ... then I will gladly put together a personal package with matching themes that we will cover together.
