Do you want to learn the Persian language? Would you like to read Hafez, Rumi and Khaqani in the original language? My friendly Persian lessons can help you. Regardless of whether you are just starting out or already have Persian language skills, you will quickly learn more by taking my classes. Because just like you, I only learned Persian as a second language, my ethnicity and mother tongue is South Azeri (the national language of Tabriz, Urmieh and Khoi in north-western Iran). Although I speak Persian fluently today and also study in this language, I understand very well how it feels to learn this language from the beginning and what its pitfalls are. I teach exclusively online, I am also available in the evenings or weekends.

I pursued my undergruaduate studies at the Alzahra University in beautiful Tehran, though I was forced to leave Iran and now live in another country. I have always retained my passion for the culture I grew up with.

Persian/Farsi is a sweet language and the official language of Iran. Persian is a soft, poetic language and it has been described as one of the most beautiful languages in the world. It is a bit challenging for English speakers to pronounce some Persian words.

I am Jamileh, a Native Persian English teacher from Iran with M.A in TEFL and B.A in English translation, and I have a TESOL Certificate with the most important and fundamental theories and methodologies of teaching and fifteen years of experience in teaching. I am a native speaker of this lovely language. Besides, I have been educated in Persian literature and I know the style of teaching this sweet language. I can teach the most fundamental forms of making sentences to English speakers. My teaching style is communicative and task-based. With this sweet language, you can learn more about the glorious culture of my country, Iran, and also you will get access to communicate with almost 120 million people and read and enjoy great literature masterpieces such as SHAHNAMEH, HAFIZ, KHAYYAM, and RUMI. Studying Persian provides an entry into a rich and diverse culture that produced major epic and Sufi poets such as Ferdowsi, Rumi, and Hafez, exquisite miniature paintings, fine carpets, and world-class films.

My mother tongue is Persian and I am fluent in English; meanwhile, I know French and Turkish.
As a teacher, I prefer to be friendly with my students, but also strict when it comes to fulfilling my duties. I believe that the key to good teaching is to make any topic or material comprehensive, dividing it into smaller units.

This class concentrates mainly on four skills: speaking, reading, writing, and listening in Persian/ Farsi. we learn the alphabets of Farsi and then move to word making and sentence making little by little.

My teaching method is a selection of the best books and methodologies I have experienced during my 13 years of teaching. The class would be held via the Zoom app and I will write all the points on the whiteboard for you, you will be given some tasks to practice and be checked each session.

The more persistent you are, the sooner you will get results.

Persian as a language is typically seen as not very important within the global real. But if you are someone who isn't interested in only advancing with stuff that's "good for your career" then this class is the right one for you.
People often get the impression that a language like Persian won't get them anywhere, but you let me tell you: I have had more interest accrued in my person because of my Persian skills than before.

You will learn the basic conversational skills, vocabulary and sentence structures. You will get exercises and scans as homework material to further practice your writing and reading skills, as well as deepen your understanding for Persian.

Persian is my mother tongue. I love this language, and I think today, with the whole wave of migration, more and more people are making Iranian or Persian friends, and so they want to learn Persian as another cool language. Personally, I am convinced that learning a new language is not only a skill, and it is not only good for the brain, it is also a great way to discover another culture. So, by learning Persian, you will be able to read poems, appreciate Iranian music even more and understand all the expressions that make Iranian culture rich.

I have already learned English, French, a little German and Italian, and I think that learning a language can be super fun.
