I'm a native French speaker based in Marseille. I offer relaxed French conversation lessons for expats who want to feel more confident in everyday life in France.

We can work on speaking, pronunciation, cultural understanding, and real-life situations rather than traditional grammar-heavy lessons.

Location:
I am based in Marseille's 6th arrondissement and can host lessons locally or travel within Marseille for private sessions.

My background includes studies in French literature and a Master's degree in Philosophy from the Sorbonne, and I love helping people engage not only with the French language but also with French culture and ways of thinking.

Whether you're new to France or have been living here for years, my goal is to help you feel more comfortable, confident, and connected in everyday French life.

I am in Terminale S-SVT (specialty physics-chemistry) in Lycée Thiers and I propose to help your children, to give them lessons, to help them for homework, to make them understand so that they can by themselves to study well without the need for a private teacher.
I am very motivated, rigorous, patient, smiling and pedagogue.

I teach Mathematics, French, English, Marketing, Management, Economics but also: WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT.

Being a student of 22 years in Master 1 in business school, I obtained a Baccalaureate ES in 2010 with honors. I left a few months in England where I could learn English fluently and I would be able to give you English lessons.

This course is for children of all ages and adults to learn or strengthen the English language. I can also answer any questions and help with any English duties.

Hello! My name is Kate and I am an Australian who is has been living in France since 2019. I am fluent in French and English is obviously my native language.

My educational background: I hold a Masters of Art Therapy from The University of Paris with a major in music therapy, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with majors in Music and Psychology, and a Diploma of Languages with a major in French from The University of Queensland, Australia.

As a native English speaker my goal is to instill confidence in my students (of all ages) of their ability to speak, use, and understand English. I use a variety of interactive methods including songs, actions, rhymes, books, and music. I am firm believer in 'trying' and as such I will encourage my students to use their English, regardless of how many faults they may make. It is only from making errors, that we can improve! Additionally, I am happy to work on assignments, test preparation, or any other English homework which may need completing. I can provide homework, or extension tasks as required.

My lessons are largely immersion based, and as such I will avoid the use of French, unless an explanation is needed for clarity. I am happy to adapt to the needs of my students.

Prior to arriving in France, I tutored for over two years in Australia, aiding students from ages 8 to 17 with a variety of subjects including English, maths, science, music, and french. I have extensive experience with children: I have been a scout leader since 2020 in Marseille, and have been involved with Girl Guides Australia since I was 7 years old, eventually leading a group of 10-17 year olds for over 4 years before arriving to France.

I am located near Metro Prado, but can travel throughout Marseille. Depending on distance, travel costs may be in addition to class fees.

I have a valid working with children background check in Australia, and hold first aid qualifications in France (PSC1).

This class is for:
1. High school students who are having a difficult time understanding the physics concepts they learn at school.

2. Students with general intersting in understanding more about the concepts they are introduced to at school.

Curriculum can be modified to the needs of the student.
