Hello good! I am 20 years old, I am from Madrid, Spain and I have been studying music in Lugano for 3 years. I speak Italian, English and Spanish, the latter being my mother tongue. I really like to chat and meet new people and, above all, exchange cultures.

Hello good! My name is Diego, music student here in Lugano. This is my third year studying here so I also know Italian. I mainly offer conversation classes. I am very interested in any field of knowledge, we could talk about anything!

Cello is in my opinion the best and most versatile instrument that western culture has produced. I am a student at the University of Chicago majoring in music with an ABRSM Grade 8 qualification in Cello Practical Performance.

In our lessons, I will coach you through the pieces you would like to work on as well as work on side reading through fun cello duets! I look forward to working with you!

I live in Lugano during the holidays and this is when I am most available to teach.

I teach students of every level, I work privately, in person and online. I teach all ages, from children to adults, from level “zero” to students who want to prepare for exams in Conservatories, but also amateurs or people who just want to try some piano lessons.

My teaching method is changing with time. The more I teach, the more I learn from my students. I see teaching as a dynamic experience, and I welcome the students to give feedbacks and set their own goals, in order to give them my best advices and guidance. I am usually focusing on generating independence in the approach to music, with slow but steady learning of music reading, understanding of rhythm and all the fundamentals needed by every one, adapting of course to the students' goals.
