French from beginner to advanced, all ages, written and oral!

I have trained students and adults for English tests, particularly for IELTS and TOEFL for over a year. I also tutored students in science and basic math, helped them with their homework and provided them with a comfortable space to ask questions, clear doubts and have fruitful discussions.

The Conversation Class is different than regular language teaching as, I believe, it raises the stakes of the lesson. Instead of having a professor inflicting knowledge to his/her student, it becomes about two people trying to communicate. I regularly give French and Italian conversation classes to all levels.I have always adopted a friendly attitude with my students (no matter the age), always trying to keep them interested and active. I believe in this tutoring format for it is a way to learn differently than in school for instance, and to take the time to understand and succeed in whatever was challenging us. I have been teaching French and Italian since I am 17, holding a 'Conversation Class' course within the context of an International Music Academy every summer for two weeks (since 2016).

I can teach all periods of English Literature - but particularly Shakespeare and Classical Drama - having a BA from Oxford and also an MA in Russian and East European Literature from UCL. I’m confident that anyone can learn French independently of age, everything is about method. For infants and preschool children French can be introduced through games, enriching their vocabulary. For children and teenagers I like to do classes mixing both games and more conventional teaching (grammar). This way they learn and practice french while never getting bored. I want French to be fun. I offer you a German course that is not like the others. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you travel back and forth by train every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Memorise the timetable. 2) Realise that the train comes every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in textbooks and in normal lessons, the first approach is used - in the course I am offering you, it is the second approach because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both pupils and adults who want to learn the German language without time-consuming detours through the madness of fruitless school methods. Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.
