I specialise in tutoring French and/or English for school just as well for higher education levels or different age groups. As a native speaker in both languages and as a linguaphile who took interest in learning other languages such as Spanish and Arabic, I am aware of the struggles that might come with attempting to learn a new language. For my students, I would start off by evaluating where they are at in terms of their level of speaking just as well as writing, in order to know what to work on and what they've already mastered. I would provide homework, just as well as challenges to place them in real life situations where they would have to use their skills and knowledge. In addition to this, providing a feedback on what they've accomplished, what needs further improvement and work.

Whether it is to be proficient in a new language or to watch Emily in Paris without the subtitles, you might want to consider learning French! French is a unique language that seems intimidating but is rather easy when taught and practiced efficiently.

As a French native speaker, I would be more than happy to teach this fascinating language. If you are an art lover, you will be able to experience the arts of Victor Hugo, Simone de Beauvoir, Jean Paul Sartre, without translation! (and much more)

I am French and studied in France before coming to the UK to finish my master’s degree. Additionally, I have a teaching certificate in English as a Second Language.
I know how difficult it is to speak a different language from your native one. Personally, I went through the process myself, so I can help you overcome any barriers. The goal is for you to learn and improve your French. I gained over 20 years of experience by teaching French to children from 6 to 18 years old(including GCSE and A-Level) and adults. More than anything, it gives me satisfaction to see my students express themselves with confidence in French. I adore French and love teaching Molière’s language.

Bonjour ! I am a London based tutor for French learners. I have experience teaching french to english-speaking children and adults, and english to french-speaking children and adults!

I would first assess your level then tailor the classes accordingly, taking into account your preferred way of learning. I believe in the power of conversation and interaction for language learning, but also offer a wealth of text-based exercises and resources.

I was raised in Paris, then studied economics and history at UCL. I have a full-time job (for the UK government), so I am mostly available in the evenings and at the weekend.

Learning is one of the things I enjoy the most in life, but teaching is even more fun! I love helping someone learn, and I always learn a lot from them.

Learning is fun, et c’est mieux à deux !

À bientôt,

Arsène

As a French native speaker, I can teach all ages and levels from helping with homework, revising for tests, to perfecting your next oral exam. Having sat the French GCSE exam I am highly familiar with how the British schooling system tackles and marks students. J’espère pouvoir vous aider, à bientôt!

I studied Mathematics at the University of Oxford (Balliol College). I offer online private lessons in Mathematics, Computer Science and French.

For high-school students:
- Grades & understanding. For students who want to improve their results and deepen their grasp of their lecture notes, I offer tuition in Mathematics and French. I help students build the mathematical rigour they need to progress — turning ambiguous, complex notions into ideas they genuinely understand and can reason about with confidence.
- Oxbridge entrance preparation. Focused coaching for Oxford and Cambridge admissions tests and interviews in Mathematics. I have served as an interviewer in Mathematics at Hertford College and Balliol College, Oxford, so I know first-hand what the examiners are looking for.

For undergraduate students
- University-level lectures in Mathematics, Statistics and Machine Learning (from classical machine learning through to modern deep learning techniques).
