Classical Piano Lessons with Concert Pianist – All Levels Welcome

Hi! I’m Didac Barber, a professional concert pianist and experienced teacher from Spain, now based in the Netherlands.
I hold a Master’s in Piano Performance from The Hartt School (USA) and trained at ESMUC Barcelona, studying with top international pianists like Adolf Pla and Luiz de Moura Castro. I’ve performed across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, and have taught piano for over 15 years — in conservatories, private studios, and internationally online.
My passion lies not only in performance but in helping students discover what they are capable of. I’m dedicated, empathetic, and patient — and I want you to enjoy your learning journey as much as I do sharing it.
Each student is different, and so are my lessons.
Whether you're just starting out or already preparing for auditions or performances, I’ll adapt the lesson to your goals, challenges, and musical taste.
We can work, all in a way that feels personal and motivating, on:
* Technique and sound production
* Repertoire (classical, contemporary, film music, etc.)
* Musical expression and interpretation
* Performance preparation (concerts, exams, auditions)
* Practice strategies and confidence-building
I’m here to help you be the best pianist you can be, whether that means mastering Bach or finally playing your favorite piece with confidence.
Lessons are at students home or online, and taught in English, Spanish, or Catalan, unfortunately not in Dutch for now.

Piano is my lifelong passion.
I’ve been studying piano since childhood and never stopped. Over the years, I’ve developed a clear mission: to nurture a love for music in students of all ages and levels. I specialize in classical piano and offer engaging, structured lessons with a friendly, patient approach tailored to each student’s needs.
I especially enjoy working with young children—I’ve taught students as young as four. Their energy and enthusiasm are infectious! I create lessons that are fun, creative, and developmentally appropriate, while also laying a strong technical and musical foundation. My goal is to guide them with care and discipline so they can grow into confident young musicians.
At the same time, I’m passionate about mentoring advanced students who are serious about piano. Whether they are preparing for conservatory auditions or aiming to build a professional career, I help them refine their technique, deepen their musical expression, and develop a unique artistic voice. I work closely with each student to bring out their full potential and prepare them to be valuable candidates for any university or music program.
