Hi! My name is Alex. I’m a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English, currently based in Berlin. I love helping people connect through languages and make learning enjoyable.

In my classes, I focus on communication, confidence, and creating a relaxed atmosphere where you feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Whether you’re a beginner or want to polish your skills, I will adapt the lessons to your goals and pace.
I also worked as a teacher preparing students for Cambridge English exams (PET, FCE, CAE), helping them gain confidence and improve their performance.

I have worked in international reinsurance and medical underwriting for 10 years in London and Paris, before spending 5 years as Director of Operations of an insurance company in France.
Since 2007 I have been drawing on this experience as a specialist English business language trainer. I research, write and deliver 4- and 8-hour workshops to individuals or to groups of up to 10 people on technical and sector-specific subjects

I have developed online interactive courses for business people looking to improve their technical English knowledge in subjects such as Finance, Insurance, Business basics, Medical and also the Wine Industry. The online courses can be combined with telephone lessons to enable speech practise and discuss questions raised by the online exercises.

I also offer 1-2-1 lessons by video telephone calls.

I am a French 21-year-old English literature student, specialized in Anglo-Saxon literature and film studies through a Bachelor degree in University College Dublin, in Ireland.
During these past years, I have analyzed in depth Anglo-Saxon literature in UCD, Ireland, surrounded by native English speakers and examined as such. Fluent in French and English, I also have an intermediary level in Spanish.
Dynamic and agreeable, I have cultivated an easiness for tutoring over the years, through homework assistance. Raised in a large family, I grew up surrounded by smaller ones and quickly took the habit to assist them in their homework. Since 2013, I regularly work as a childminder which includes homework assistance. My personal experience, as well as my tutoring experiences, have increased my teaching skills and developed my inventiveness so as to always make the lessons lively and authentic.

Ich helfe gerne allen Schülern, die jetzt im Homeschooling mit ihren Aufgaben Unterstützung brauchen und sich Dinge nicht selbst und ohne Lehrer erklären können. Auch Kindern mit Nachhilfebedarf helfe ich gerne. Mir ist es wichtig, mit den Kindern eine Struktur zu erarbeiten, so dass sie langfristig nicht auf meine Hilfe angewiesen sind, sondern erlernen, wie sie selbst mit neuen, unbekannten und herausfordernden Aufgaben umgehen und diese erfolgreich meistern können, denn so wächst auch die Motivation und die Neugier an neuen Dingen, vor allem aber der Glaube und das Vertrauen ab /in die eigenen Fähigkeiten.

¡Hola! Soy un profesor experimentado que se adapta a las necesidades del alumno. En mis lecciones, podemos trabajar tanto en español práctico como funcional para viajar y comunicarnos a diario en un país de habla hispana, pero también en español más académico para desarrollar la expresión escrita o las habilidades necesarias para aprobar el examen DELE.

En mis lecciones utilizo materiales didácticos para trabajar la gramática de forma sencilla e inductiva, de manera que podamos centrarnos en el aspecto comunicativo. Me encantan los juegos, los ejercicios de creatividad y los juegos de rol. En general, mis alumnos no sienten que mis lecciones sean algo forzado, sino que es muy natural y espontáneo. ¡Aprender un idioma puede ser divertido!

En cuanto a mi experiencia, tengo más de cuatro años de experiencia y tengo un Máster oficial en Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera. He trabajado en academias privadas, escuelas bilingües internacionales e institutos públicos. Entonces tengo experiencia con niños, adolescentes y adultos. Además, hablo español, gallego, francés e inglés y también he trabajado con alumnos de diversos orígenes (francés, italiano, eslovaco, inglés ...) para poder conocer cuáles son los aspectos difíciles dados tu lengua materna.

Personalmente, amo la naturaleza, viajar, hacer deporte y conectarme con mis alumnos. He vivido en tres países diferentes: Gales, Francia y Eslovaquia.

Hi ! I am French and give French class, I have already some experience with mostly kid but I am able to work with older people. I am very patient and teaching is something that I love doing. I can speak pretty well English as well as I spent one year in Ireland. I am available in the afternoon from 12 to 5pm from Monday to Thursday and from Friday to Sunday from 8 am to 5pm.
