Hi, I’m Paul, a Chemistry PhD researcher at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, funded by BASF. Under my tutorship, students will be able to develop several areas of knowledge, including:

- Chemistry: from elementary to master’s level, I can help you understand and master any branch of chemistry, focusing on both theory and problem-solving.

- Maths: up to high school level, I can teach efficient problem-solving strategies and help you apply different memorization and reasoning techniques.

Spanish or Catalan: As a native speaker, I can support you in your learning journey (regardless of your current level) in either of these two beautiful languages, focusing on fluency, comprehension, and confidence. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn about my culture and Iberian history, discover special places to visit that are not widely known, and of course explore traditional recipes such as tortilla de patata, churros, or escudella.

Lessons can be conducted in any of these three languages.

In addition, I can also provide insight into working in a large multinational company such as BASF, where I worked on-site for over two years.

I can offer lessons either at the student’s location or online. Pricing for Chemistry and Mathematics lessons can be arranged depending on the required level (elementary, high school, or university level).

Master’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry and Introduction to Chemical Research – UAB

During this programme, I worked 8 months for BASF in Spain and 13 months for BASF Polyurethanes GmbH in Northern Germany.

PhD in Chemistry (ongoing)
Currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry under BASF funding.

Experience / Qualifications

Graduated with high honors in my Chemistry degree and both Master’s degrees, achieving a final GPA of 1.3 (German grading system) across all three programms.

C1 level in both Spanish and Catalan, as well as a B2 level in English.

2 years of on-site experience working for BASF (8 months in Spain and 13 months in Germany).

More than 3 years of experience teaching high school and university-level students in Spain.
