Class 1: Course Description: • This course provides an introduction to Braille, the tactile writing and reading system used by individuals who are blind or visually impaired. • Students will learn the fundamentals of the Braille alphabet, numbers, punctuation, and basic contractions, with a focus on developing the skills necessary to read and write Braille fluently. •The course will also explore the history of Braille, its development, and its role in increasing accessibility and independence for the visually impaired community. Learning Objectives: Master the Braille alphabet, numbers, and common contractions. Understand the history and importance of Braille in accessibility.

As a Special Needs Teacher and a Braille Specialist, I am here to teach Braille to my level best as you know many people lack the knowledge of working on Braille as well as communicating with the visually impaired persons especially in writings. Just come close to me and I will show you how to play with the dots in the cells and I hope you will get more knowledge on Braille, and from that, you will be a great Braille Transcriber. Again, as a language teacher, am here to take you through one of the greatest and most loved African language called the Swahili language. This will make you know how to communicate well with the indigenous Africa if perhaps you decide to visit African continent (Eastern and Sub Saharan Africa) for a vacation or on a nature walk.
