In this branch, we will develop the rules of classical writing (parallel fifths and octaves, false relations etc, ...) within the framework of an exercise based on a given melody or bass (in the first case it will be necessary to invent harmonization and compose a bass, in the second, it will be necessary to invent the harmonization and the melody). This course can also be used by academy or conservatory students who wish to prepare for the writing exam, or simply to deepen their knowledge.

Henry held a great lesson for our 6 yo son. He made it fun and interesting and was able to quickly adapt the exercises depending on how our child responded. Also worth mentioning that Henry was able to overcome language barrier as our child speaks very little French or English. Our child was very happy and wants to come back for more

Bastien is GREAT! His energy is so motivating and clearly, he loves what he does. My favorite part about our lessons is that he nicely "forces" me out of my comfort zone, and thus helps accelerate my progress. Also, like his improvizing skills and how he tailors the classes around my wishes and style. Highly recommended!
