I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA, and relocated from London to Barcelona in 2023.

Mathematics has always been a huge passion of mine and I have found it helps in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These skills are crucial in building confidence and nurturing creativity in students (I even use math to create music!).

I enjoy teaching various math topics, such as algebra, geometry, ratio and proportion, probability, and trigonometry, among others. I'm also equipped to assist students in preparing for 11+, 13+, GCSE, IB and SAT exams.

In addition to being a math tutor, I also have a certificate in TEFL. This has enabled me to design my lessons in a way that is more engaging and effective for students of all ages.

Having lived in five different countries, including the UK, Belgium, USA, India, and Spain, I bring a diverse perspective to my teaching. During my leisure time, I enjoy creating music, cooking, watching movies and running (mostly long walks these days!).

Ideally what I like to do first is to identify strengths and weaknesses early on and to tailor my lessons accordingly. I will do this by creating a positive learning environment for you where you feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes and ask for help.

In most cases, a drill and practice approach in combination with real world applications will garner the best results. However I understand that each student is unique so I can utilise a variety of teaching methods to ensure all material is understood and any challenges are overcome.

I have a Bacholer's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA and a TEFL Certificate (Teach English as a Foreign Language)

During my classes I always try to establish a connection between theory and reality, so that learning becomes a pleasant process of understanding the world in which we live.

I use memorization techniques adapted to the natural predisposition to learning (visual, auditory or kinesthetic) of each student and combined with the principle of repetition by spaces (SRS) that ensures, according to neuroscientific studies, effective long-term memorization.

My first classes always start with an explanation of the teaching techniques I use and a test that allows me to understand the natural (and then optimal) way of memorizing the student. In addition, I also take care to verify if the student masters the necessary (and essential) mathematical bases to develop and fully understand more complex concepts.

I also teach algebra, geometry, trigonometry and informatics.

Born in London to French and American parents, I grew up between the three countries and now live in Barcelona. In addition to teaching, I also run my own business as a football agent.

I taught high school math for multiple years in East LA with the program Teach for America that places top university graduates in under served neighbourhoods. As I lived in the UK for many years and have taught many British students, I am also intimately familiar with the UK curriculum.
