Are you looking to learn violin or guitar in a supportive, inspiring and structured way?

I’m a professional music educator with over 20 years of experience teaching children, teens and adults in the U.S., Spain and internationally. My lessons focus on building a strong musical foundation while helping you enjoy the process and gain confidence.

Lessons are personalized to your level, goals and learning style. We work on technique, musicality, rhythm, ear training and repertoire you enjoy, whether you are a complete beginner or returning to music after time away.

I specialize in:
– Violin and guitar for beginners and intermediate students
– Adult learners and late starters
– Developing solid technique without tension
– Making music feel accessible, expressive and motivating

Lessons are interactive, clear and encouraging. My goal is not just to teach notes, but to help you feel at home with your instrument and enjoy making music from the very beginning.

No previous music experience is required for beginner students.

I’m a professional music educator with over 20 years of experience teaching violin and guitar to children, teens and adults in the U.S. and Spain.

My teaching style is calm, structured and encouraging. I focus on helping students build confidence, solid technique and a genuine connection to music, without pressure or unnecessary tension.

I enjoy working with beginners, adult learners and students who may feel unsure about starting (or restarting) music. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace, goals and personality, and I aim to make learning feel accessible, motivating and enjoyable.

Whether you are learning for personal fulfillment, confidence or musical foundations, my goal is to help you feel at home with your instrument and enjoy the process of making music.

Education

Bachelor of Music Education and Violin – Boston University
Licensed Music Teacher (Pre-K–12) –California & Massachusetts
Master’s-level training in Conducting – Central Connecticut State University

Expérience / Qualifications

• Over 20 years of experience teaching music in public and private schools (Boston, SF, NY, and Barcelona, Spain)
• Professional full-time Orchestra Teacher (Elementary, Middle and High School)
• Violin and guitar instructor for children, teens and adults
• Experience teaching adult beginners and late starters
• Training in Orff methodology and O Passo
• Experience developing music programs and ensembles from the ground up
• Fluent in English and Spanish
