My name is Natalia. I was born in Ecuador and have 2 post secondary degrees. I first graduated teachers college and began teaching in an elemtary school where I taught English and Math but later left to open my own private English/Spanish tutoring centre which now employs 5 people and serves over 300 students daily. Running my own business has allowed me to gain experience in many different faucets of education from lesson planning to training educators therefore helping to make me a well rounded teacher of both English and Spanish. I am located in the most touristic city in Ecuador which means we have a constant influx of foreign travelers so I have experience teaching people from many different cultures and varying levels of Spanish proficiency. During this time I completed a 4 year specialization program for teaching English at an internationally recognized univeristy based in Ecuador. I also have TESOl certification for teaching English. I am looking to use this platform to expand my experience teaching Spanish. I have taught large groups but I also have extensive experience in private classes. Private classes come with unique goals: test preparation, homework, job specific language or general and I have always got my clients to a level that they achieve success. I feel my strong understanding of grammar and structure in both English and Spanish make me a uniquely strong teacher and asset to any team.

About Me

I have taught my entire life. It is my passion and my students leave each class seeing that. I have taught in many settings and I have grown from each one to become the well rounded passionate teacher that I am today. I expect my students to be ready to dedicate themselves inside and outside of the classroom to learning a language.

Education

In 2019 I have graduated from my second Bachelor's degree in education from an Ecuadorian university. Its name is Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja and I have another teaching Spanish degree.
