Have you always dreamed of playing guitar but don't know where to start? Do you want to get back into music after a break or accompany your singing? Welcome! As a passionate musician based in Bordeaux city center, I offer guitar lessons (acoustic or electric) focused on enjoyment and tangible results. My method is simple: theory serves practice. We'll learn the essential concepts through songs you love. 🎸 What we will be working on together: Current music & various styles: Pop, Rock, Folk, Blues, Variety... We explore the repertoire that makes you vibrate. Personalized learning: Mastering chords, rhythm, finger picking (finger playing) and improvisation. Applied music theory: Understanding the harmony and structure of a piece to become independent, without getting bored. Specialty "Guitar-Voice": For those who sing, I help you coordinate your playing and singing for successful performances. 👥 For whom? All ages: From children (as young as 7-8) to adults and seniors. It's never too late to start! All levels: From the complete beginner who has never touched a rope to the experienced player wishing to perfect their technique. 📍 Practical information & Sector: Location: I travel to your home in Bordeaux Centre (Chartrons, Victoire, Saint-Pierre, Nansouty, etc.), or to my home where there is equipment available. Equipment: If you don't already have your own guitar, I can advise you on your first purchase. Flexibility: Regular or occasional classes depending on your schedule. I am a UK-trained violinist with a strong background in performance, orchestral playing, and teaching. What defines my teaching is precision, clarity, and care for healthy technique. I help students build a secure technical foundation while developing confidence, musical awareness, and expressive sound. I genuinely enjoy working with children and take pride in guiding them patiently and responsibly. With young students, I focus on posture, coordination, listening skills, and confidence, creating a positive and motivating learning environment from the very beginning. I also work with teenagers and adults, including returners who feel tense or stuck. My lessons are structured, calm, and highly focused, helping students understand how to practise effectively and progress with purpose. I combine high standards with a supportive and respectful approach, adapting my teaching to each student’s age, level, and goals. My violin lessons are carefully structured to develop strong technique, musical understanding, and long-term confidence. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s age, level, and physical comfort. I identify technical issues early and address them methodically, ensuring healthy posture and efficient movement. We work in depth on: • posture and body balance • •bow control and sound production • left-hand technique, intonation, and coordination • musical phrasing and stylistic awareness With children, lessons are patient, encouraging, and well-paced, building discipline and confidence step by step. With older students and adults, lessons are focused, analytical, and goal-oriented. My aim is not only improvement, but to give students reliable tools they can use independently in their practice.
