Trusted teacher: Graduated in composition and Orchestration and in the art of theater and directing, having a Master in Musical Theater at the Sorbonne University Paris and a doctorate of advanced research in the art of singing and musical interpretation , I propose singing and interpretation lessons, based on the understanding and implementation of the Belt technique (breathing, voice placement, flexibility of diaphragmal pressure, diction) and a practical application of the theatrical method from Stanislavski for a thorough understanding and discovery of the theatrical interpretation of songs. The course consists of two or three parts: 1. A warm-up with various exercises, with the aim of widening the range, developing the breathing and understanding the mechanism of the phonator device. 2. Practical work on a song with eclectic choice. 3. A part of learning music theory and reading of score, if necessary. I work with you, putting a lot of emphasis on discovering or developing your voice at your own pace. I can also propose: 2. Music interpretation course (we work on the game and the construction of a character, the emotion of the song, the nuances) 3. Theater course (Actor's Studio method) - (we work on the body expression, the scenic presence, the connection between thought and action on stage), 4. Course of musical theory and solfege (the bases of the musical theory to be able to read and follow a partition), 5. Preparation course for castings and auditions (work on psychological preparation, stress management, choice of pieces and cutting, etc.). The price quoted is per course

Trusted teacher: Have you always wanted to play the piano, but you tell yourself you are not really “musical,” not talented enough, or that it is too late to start? Or maybe you played a long time ago and would like to come back to it, but you do not feel comfortable, your technique feels shaky, and you lack confidence. This is very common for adults. Most of the time, what holds people back is not a lack of talent, but a lack of method: - you do not know what to practise, so you feel like you are not progressing - coordinating both hands feels complicated at first - reading music and music theory can feel intimidating - you tense up easily, and it feels like “it doesn’t sound good” - you start, you stop, and motivation drops because it feels like too much effort My role is to make piano clear, accessible, and enjoyable, with a precise plan and simple steps. The goal is for you to be able to sit at the piano and play real music with confidence: - to enjoy playing at the end of the day - to play a few pieces for your partner or friends - to finally learn the music you love In practice, we move forward with a calm, progressive, and very practical method: - build solid technique, without tension or stiffness - improve rhythm and coordination step by step - learn to read music at a realistic pace, with simple and useful reference points - work on pieces you enjoy, with arrangements adapted to your level - set up a short, effective practice routine that fits a busy schedule You will always know what to practise, how to practise it, and what matters most. Many adults progress faster than they expected, because we focus on what is essential and avoid wasted effort. I have a Master’s degree from the Royal Conservatory of Liège and I achieved ABRSM Level 8. I have three years of teaching experience, and I adapt each lesson to your goals, your level, and your pace. If this speaks to you, send me a message with: - your goal - your current level - how much time you can realistically practise each week - whether you prefer in-person or online lessons I will tell you the best way to get started :D

We use literary authors or theatrical plays like a spine in which little by little we will intrude our own life. We will explore through theater, as in forum theater, a powerful technique of individual expression and collective reflection. For those who want to improve their French by expressing themselves... For those who want to find themselves in a multicultural atmosphere! “The learner does not acquire two foreign ways of acting and communicating. He becomes multilingual and learns interculturality. The linguistic and cultural skills relating to each language are modified by knowledge of the other and contribute to intercultural awareness, skills and know-how. They allow the individual to develop a richer and more complex personality and to increase his capacity to learn other foreign languages and to open up to new cultural experiences. Learners are also made capable of mediation through interpretation and translation between speakers of two languages who cannot communicate directly. "CEFR, p. 40

My daughter who is 15 and just started with Jara, after two 2 hours classes, she is excited about the prospect of speaking Arabic one day. Jara's way is really pedagogic and she knows how to keep the attention of the student focused without losing the excitement of the new. Her expérience of the Middle East and profound knowledge of the language make her à source of inspiration for my daughter. Very happy with Jara.

I enjoyed my first lessons. It was both very practical since I learned a lot about the technical aspect of playing an instrument (hand positioning, body posture, etc.) and about the history of harp. The teacher also gave me advice regarding buying my own harp. She was very attentive and paid attention to my every movement, to make sure that I played it all correctly. I am looking forward to having more lessons
