As a recent civil engineering graduate, I offer private tutoring in math, physics, and chemistry.Translate this text using Google Translate.

My lessons are aimed at students in primary school, secondary school, and university (depending on the program and course). I was fortunate to have a very broad background in the exact sciences thanks to my civil engineering studies. My lessons can therefore cover chemistry (kinetics, equilibria, mass balances, etc.), mathematics (analysis, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, differential equations, etc.), and physics (electricity, mechanics, thermodynamics, etc.). Before starting private lessons, I usually ask for a description of the student's current course so that I can best prepare the sessions. My studies also instilled in me a problem-based learning approach. My teaching method is therefore primarily practice-oriented, as the most important thing in the exact sciences is being able to solve any type of problem. And to do that, you have to do as many as possible. During my studies, I realized that the best way to understand a subject is by doing exercises on it. However, you still need to have some foundational knowledge. That's why I usually start with a brief review of the subject and provide a formula sheet with the important formulas. Then, I work through one or more typical exercises with the student, explaining the steps involved. Finally, the student will do exercises on their own, using the formula sheet (using formulas is the best way to remember them). I'm there to assess their understanding, answer their questions, and help them when needed.

PhD Researcher in Chemical Engineering at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) with industrial experience as a Process Safety Engineer.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a PhD Researcher in Chemical Engineering at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Process Safety Engineer, gaining industrial experience in process safety, chemical plants, and engineering design. I also carried out research at North Carolina State University (USA), focusing on bioprocessing and downstream processing. I have also completed the Italian teacher training programme for secondary education (24 CFU), which provided me with formal training in pedagogy, psychology, and teaching methodologies. I offer personalized lessons for high school and university students in: • Chemistry, including General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering • Mathematics • Physics • Thermodynamics • Transport Phenomena • Chemical Reaction Engineering • Process Design And, as engineers like to say, we can do almost everything, or at least we are very good at figuring out how. So, if the subject you need help with is not on the list, feel free to contact me and we can discuss it. Whether you are preparing for an exam, working on assignments, or looking to strengthen your understanding of scientific and engineering concepts, I tailor each lesson to your needs and learning style. Lessons are available online and in person in Brussels. Languages: English 🇬🇧 and Italian 🇮🇹

Mathematics, physics or chemistry lessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Reconciling students with mathematics, physics and chemistry: this is the objective that I set for myself. How ? The purpose of this particular course is twofold. On the one hand, to catch up with the student, by helping him to build a solid technical base in the subject of his choice. On the other hand, guide him in his working method by aiming for productivity and academic autonomy. Today, a large number of students remain stuck in front of their notebooks for hours, without assimilating the slightest knowledge. Fascinated by productivity, I have long studied the factors that allow students to shine in their studies. Studying effectively is a skill that is not innate for everyone, but fortunately, it can be learned! Through these courses, I would like to guide students towards a productive way of working, in order to allow them to find an academic independence which will be vital for the transition to higher education. A productive student will achieve better results by working less, which will allow him to savor the material, rather than undergo it. The satisfaction that is derived will then help him to maintain a level of motivation throughout the year. My accompaniment: • Available H24, 7/7, via message/email outside of class to answer urgent questions about a class or an exercise. • Provide additional exercises if necessary. • Organization of “mock” exams to simulate real assessment conditions. • Possibility of giving lessons to two students at the same time if they are in the same class.

Physics & Applied Mechanics: Master calculations and logic (Secondary / Higher / Adult level)Translate this text using Google Translate.

"Understanding the laws of motion and energy with a practical approach." Thanks to my background in electromechanics, I don't just teach you formulas; I teach you how to visualize physical phenomena. Whether you're preparing for the Central Examining Board, an entrance exam, or a career advancement, we'll work together to simplify the concepts that are holding you back. What we work on together: Mechanics (Statics & Dynamics): Equilibrium of bodies, calculation of forces (vectors), moments, work, power, and efficiency. General Physics: Kinetic and potential energy, thermodynamics (heat), optics, and waves. Electricity & Magnetism: Ohm's and Joule's laws, electric fields, and induction. Motion Transmission: Study of gears, pulleys, torques, and rotational speeds. My method: Analysis of your weaknesses: We target the chapter that is causing you difficulty. Logical explanation: I replace complicated definitions with concrete examples from real-world situations. Assisted problem-solving: We complete exam-style exercises step by step to automate the correct reflexes. As a patient and effective teacher, my goal is to make you autonomous and confident when tackling your worksheets.

Great teacher, helped me with difficult questions and most importantly taught me the reason why they were solved in the method which was used. Definitely recommend.

Clear presentations, giving a good overview and more clarity regarding the topics
