Fred loves groove and has a warm and deep sound. He has played with many bands of very different styles: soul-funk, jazz, salsa, African music, pop-rock. Notably influenced by Cuban music, he developed a bass style that combines funk, jazz, soul and Cuban timba. Fred has played with the Sumo band in Europe, the USA and South America. He played in the first part of Faithless, Jamie Lidell and Gotan Project. His various style influences enrich his musical compositions.
