I'm an experienced and acclaimed teacher with some international experience and an actual degree in music pedagogy. I play gigs with a variety of bands in a variety of different styles. All my teaching is based on actual practical experience from real life with real musicians! In my lessons you are in the front and center! We'll focus on the music that you like and how to become the musician you want to be - figuring out the essentials and tips and tricks along the way! My specialties lie in straight ahead jazz but I've been through, and still very much like, the likes of Bon Jovi, Avenged Sevenfold, Toto and many more! Hugo, a professional drummer and composer, holds a higher degree in Modern Music and Jazz Performance from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu. My training has been complemented by working and learning alongside numerous leading figures in jazz and drumming, and I have professional experience in concerts, recordings, and projects with musicians from the national and international scene. I offer drum lessons tailored to each student, from beginner to advanced levels. We'll work on what you really need: technique, sound, timing, coordination, reading music, improvisation, repertoire, or jazz. I can also help you expand your musical training through modern harmony and composition, with the goal of better understanding music and applying it to your instrument. This will help you speak the same language as the other musicians you share the stage with. My goal is to help you play better, understand the instrument, and develop your own sound and language. The classes are designed around practice and music, aiming to ensure that what we work on has a real-world application when playing. Hi, I’m Omid, a professional pianist and handpan player from Iran. I’m 32 years old, and I started learning piano professionally at the age of five. Piano has always been my main instrument, and over the years, I’ve developed a strong background in music, performance, and music education. About seven years ago, I discovered the handpan, and it quickly became another important part of my musical journey. Today, I teach handpan to many students and help them discover their own musical voice through this beautiful instrument. Whether you have a musical background or have never played an instrument before, you can start from zero. My lessons are designed to take you step by step—from learning the basics and playing your first notes to improvising, creating your own music, and expressing your emotions freely through the handpan. Emiliano Della Giovanna: Professional drummer and specialized in Jazz. Born in Naples, Italy Living in Ghent, Belgium Emiliano Della Giovanna was born into music. Born into an artistic family in Naples, Emiliano practiced guitar and drums in his youth. His passion for drums drives him to enroll in private music schools, where he is taught by several renowned musicians, including names such as Billy Cobham, Peter Erskine, Dave Weckl and Gregg Bissonette. In 2006 Emiliano specializes in Jazz and is accepted at the conservatory in Siena, called Seminario Senesi di Musica Jazz. His talent is appreciated. He receives a scholarship to continue his studies at the seminar for Nuoro Jazz in Sardinia. In addition to his studies, he collaborates with Mr. Umberto Guarino and establishes a music school "Studio 40" in Naples. Here he teaches drum and rhythmic music theory. During and after his studies Emiliano plays in various formations, from classical orchestras to Jazz and Rock bands, including Renzo Arbore, Vittorio Marsignia and Sergio Colicchio. MSC and Costa Crociere offer him nine contracts so that, in addition to teaching on the mainland, he travels around the world for eight years as part of an orchestra aboard various cruise ships. In February 2013, Emiliano moved to Ghent (Belgium) as a proud father, where he focused on jazz, world music and rock, as well as paternity. He is also active as a teacher at the Harteklop music school. As director of the Artmusic music school in Destelbergen, founded in November 2015, Emiliano teaches drum, guitar and rhythmic music theory and organizes weekly jam sessions.
