I have 6 years of experience teaching both cello and music theory, both as separate subjects and as a combined learning program. In this time I have worked with many different students with different skill levels and ages. My lessons adapt to the students goals, skills, previous knowledge and learning styles. On our first lesson we will determine what the starting point is, what we ant to achieve in the short and long term, and we will make a plan to get there that best suits you.

Hello, my name is David, and I am doing a master's degree in teaching at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I obtained a Master's degree in cello in June 2023. I want to pass on my passion for music by doing serious work on technique, accuracy and expression. My classes are for everyone. They can also be complementary (support) to those followed by students in the academy, in cello but also in music theory. I am also open to any type of repertoire (classical, jazz, pop, etc.) and wish to adapt to each student!

My name is María, I am 25 years old and I am a professional cellist who graduated in Spain two years ago. Now I am doing a Master in Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. For so many years I have been teaching music in different forms and ages (in already private schools): To people who wanted to get started in the musical language or start playing an instrument, to people who wanted to learn a score. or develop their musical tools, to people who wanted to continue growing as a musician and training their listening and people who wanted to improve their musical theoretical knowledge. If you are just starting out with cello or music, if you want some extra lessons, if you need to prepare and an audition or an exam, if you are doing high level studies, I can help you. I have been studying and playing the cello for many years in different places (orchestras, conservatories, recordings, musicals...) so I think I can give you some good advice in different areas. I like to think (and I do in my lessons) that music is a universal language and that anyone can learn and understand it. Also that each person can make their own approach to this wonderful language. If you are interested in taking a lesson, let me know!

After finishing my studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco (Musikene), I am now in Ghent for my Master's degree at the Kask Konservatorium & School of Arts Ghent. I am eager to share the knowledge I have acquired and to help students who are really interested in advancing in the world of the cello, both musically and technically, as well as to transmit to my students the versatility of our instrument and its beauty. I focus especially on the relaxation of the body in order to find a good quality sound. Starting with a methodology adapted to the level of the student, together we can make great progress in the subject! Sometimes one can forget how important the use of the body is and how the right use can make everything easier, that's why I like to introduce my students to different fields related to body and mental relaxation.

Music is a hobby just like it can be a profession in its own right. It is important when you are starting out or when you are more advanced to take lessons with a natural person who can give examples, advice and offer good follow-up. Master's student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have nearly 20 years of instrument practice. I offer a complete but fun approach to the discipline. Whether on the instrument or just to learn music theory. I am not confined to one style of music as long as I have the scores to be able to work effectively. I would be able to introduce people to music or reinforce the basics for more advanced people. I offer teaching adapted to the level and desires of the student: Thus, I can introduce the world of music and instrumental practice to beginners or enrich and deepen this practice (with a view to preparing for exams, working on orchestral parts for example) for the most advanced students. . I can travel if not too far but I teach at home. Looking forward to making music with you 😊
