Tailored advice is provided from beginners to the more advanced. Phil takes you through each step of a composition. He acts as a coach, dispensing advice and tips on how to get the best result. He provides inspiration thanks to artist books, reproductions of artworks, exhibitions to visit and more. You can develop your skills in any area you like (landscape, portraiture, abstraction, still life, animals...) and try out all sorts of techniques (oil, acrylic painting, drawing, pastel, inks...) A wide variety of exercises that will make your capacities grow.

Phil has two masters in Painting and drawing. He has also a master in Graphic design, and Web design. He is multi-lingual and has a large experience in teaching art.

It will focus on the structure, preparation, rehearsal and performance of a presentation.

Depending on the person's needs, the course will cover sales techniques and negotiation in the professional environment.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns.

Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

In daily life I am a Dutch teacher for non-Dutch speaking adults. I also have years of experience in teaching French.
I also give theory lessons for obtaining a B driving license.

The lessons are tailored to your needs. I give tutoring for secondary school students as well as language lessons for adults who want to take an exam at Selor.
The lessons can take place at my home or via the internet.
