I am a graduate of flute performance and instrumental pedagogy and a certified music physiologist. I have experience teaching in both private as well as public educational system, working with children up to 18 years old. I perform solo, in chamber groups as well as in orchestras - to complement my artistic activity, I research scientifically in the interdisciplinary field of science & medicine in arts. I offer performance preparation for competitions, auditions, concerts with any type of repertoire/genre - we will work on your individually set artistic, expressive and instrumental goals to reach them together. I base my teachings on the foundations of performance science, including technics, exercises and tools from music physiology and psychology, to provide you with the most optimal and balanced learning experience. I will teach you how to hold and use the instrument in the most physiologically correct and healthy way, as well as give you all the strategies and methods for optimal, enhanced learning. Ich bin eine griechische Geigerin, ursprünglich aus Thessaloniki. Seit 2009 wohne ich in Wien und habe hier mein Studium absolviert am MUK Privatuniversität in der Klasse von Lidia Baich. Vorher habe ich in Moskau am Gnessin Institut studiert. Es ist mir besonders wichtig, während der Unterrichtsstunde, meinen Studenten die Möglichkeit zu bieten, Musik zu erfahren und sich selbst in dieser schönen Sprache auszudrücken. Da ich selbst von der russischen Schule komme, werden die Grundprinzipien der Geige mit Klangschönheit, Expressivität und einem musikalischen Charakter kombiniert. Und natürlich darf der Humor dabei nicht abwesend sein!

Beginner - Expert Violin! All ages and levels are welcome. I will improve your passagework, intonation, vibrato, sliding, presence, and solidity. I can also encourage musical intuition and imagination for creative students and teach them how to be independent thinkers to achieve awesome musicianship. In my first two years of violin training, I had the opportunity to study the Suzuki method while becoming accustomed to a more traditional style and am therefore versatile and flexible with student's abilities. I have performed as a classical soloist, in chamber groups, and with a full orchestra. Additionally, I have experience in modern popular music and help my students understand the importance of both mental preparation and knowledge on comfortability during their practice time and their performance time.

I offer private violin lessons for all who are interested - every age/level is welcome. I can help with technique, personal improvement , mental and focus techniques, as well as preparing for any specific goals such as school programs/youth orchestra auditions etc. I am part-time in Vienna, and part-time in Slovakia. Anna was born in Riga, Latvia. She was seven years old when she received her first violin lessons. From the age of 14 she began to study in Riga in "Emila Dārziņā" Music College with Professor Ludmilla Girskaja. During her studies she takes part in various competitions such as "Latvian Talents" first prize and "Dvarionas" competition in Lithuania, also master course with Vadim Gluzman After completing her studies in Riga with distinction, she began her further studies in Vienna in 2003 with Professor Jan Pospichal, the concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. In 2011 she completed her master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Since 2011 she has been playing in various orchestras (Tonkünstler Orchestra, Strauss Festival Orchestra, Vienna Cathedral Orchestra, Klagenfurt Symphony Orchestra). Her love for teaching began during her student days in Vienna. She teaches a lot for children and also helps various musicians preparing for auditions, including online. Classes are held in German, English, Russian and Latvian.

I am an Italian pianist, I graduated at F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. I offer piano accompaniment to instrumentalists and singers. Being Italian my native language, I may support singers with pronunciation for the Italian Opera repertoire. Aside having a large experience in accompanying vocalists, I have an extensive background in chamber music, I have performed several times in Duo, Trio, Quintet, and I have accompanied string players for auditions, competitions and masterclasses in many different occasions. Rehearsals may take place in English, French or Italian language (basic German).

I have been teaching classes for all ages for many years. Depending on this, as well as the level of play, I adapt to different teaching methods. We are all unique and different people require different approaches. But what is most important to me is that every student loves music more and progresses with this class. Hello! With my lessons you can take a journey through the flute literature. I completed my teaching qualification in transverse flute at a Vienna Conservatory with distinction and my bachelor's examination in "Performing Art of the Flute" with good success. I have been giving lessons in flute and recorder for 3 years. I have experience with children from the age of 5, adolescents and adults. My goal is to ignite the joy of music and to build up a sound technique as a basis. Of course, the fun of playing shouldn't be neglected either. I see every student in their individuality and would like to address their strengths / weaknesses and interests.

Rose is a classical cellist from Australia with extensive teaching experience and cello performance qualifications. She is currently studying her Master's in Cello Performance at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Rose has worked as a private cello teacher since 2014. In 2019 she was the Residential Music Tutor at Janet Clarke Hall, the University of Melbourne, and in the same year completed her Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree in Cello Performance, graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. In 2020 she was a Lead Teaching Artist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's outreach program, and in 2021 she relocated to Vienna to pursue her Master's degree at the MDW. Rose has experience teaching students of all levels and ages, and offers lessons in both English and German.

Hello! I'm Tim, a 21 year old music producer who studied music programming in London. I have taught music production to children aged 8-16 at the BRIT School (Adele, Amy Winehouse, Jesse J) and would love to pass my knowledge on to the youth of Vienna!
