As a licensed teacher with experience teaching children and adults, I will make sure that you will soon surprise everyone with your Dutch skills, no matter what you need. Additional information: I have a teaching diploma and years of teaching experience, so my didactics will be on point. I can explain grammar in Dutch, English, French and/or German if necessary.

I have more than 40 years of experience with the English language, have lived in South West England for > 16 years and worked for many years in business in both the UK and the Netherlands. With a lot of hands-on experience with the language and internally improving the language use of international colleagues (Thailand, Philippines, Dutch, etc.), I now also have a TEFL/TESOL Teaching Certificate and have now focused on teaching. I also enjoy teaching and tutoring in the Dutch language for non-native speakers and am happy to help you broaden your knowledge of not only the language but also Dutch customs and traditions.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. Between the two lessons you can always ask me a question about the subject what we’ve discussed. If you have a subject what you’d like to learn about the Dutch language, let me know. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

A qualified language coach with 24 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam. Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach. In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).
