If this resonates, please keep reading! I am Julia, a classical violin player. I studied at Codarts university in Rotterdam and played in an Orchestral Academy for a year in Spain. I discovered I enjoy teching very much while following a minor in education during my bachelor. Throughout the course I learned pedagogy, didactics and methodology, and worked with students of different ages and levels of experience. I love teaching because it allows me to share my knowledge and challenges me to be more imaginative and flexible. The lessons are tailor-made. This means that the goals are going to be adapted to YOUR wishes taking in account previous experience, expectations and musical taste. Even though I have a classical training, I am open to work with different styles. I teach children from 5 years old onwards and adults. Where words leave off, music begins...

My name is Victoria. I give violin lessons in Rotterdam. Picking up a new instrument can sometimes be very difficult, so I will help you in this learning process. I can help beginners and advanced violinists to improve. My experience is that playing with a more experienced musician is more fun and benefits the development. As said, the level doesn't matter. I teach children (from 4 years old) and adults. Lessons can be given in Dutch, English or Russian. My program is very flexible and offers space for personal input. I offer violin, viola, and music theory lessons for all levels. I can adapt to any schedule and need. I have 8 years of experience as a teacher in private classes and music schools. During all these years as a teacher, I have been able to experiment and learn from my students to develop a pedagogical method that is adapted to the needs of each person. My main objective is for the student to learn the technique of the instrument through musicality so that he can enjoy and create while learning. I obtained the Higher Degree in Music in 2015 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Orchestral Specialization from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2017. Recently, I have finished my Master in Musical Interpretation at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen (Belgium) with Cum Laude. I am a Liszt academy Master's graduate, specializing in violin performance, teaching for 6+ years, and enjoy sharing knowledge and experience with anyone interested in this beautiful instrument. In these classes, you will learn the practical and theoretical parts of playing the violin from level 0, as well as how to develop your skills with the highest musical, technical, and interpretation levels.
