I am an experienced primary school teacher. I have taught across primary school for almost 6 years. I have also tutored for SEN and EAL students in London. I am able to tutor in all subjects for Primary including tutoring for the 11+ or Lycee international examinations. I will tailor lessons to fit individual pupils and try to incorporate interests of the child to aid their progress.
I am a diligent teacher, who is dedicated to enabling children to make accelerated progress, through delivering short, exciting lessons, individually tailored to interests and needs of the children I work with. I provide homework activities after lessons and provide reports for parents.

I have over 4 years of experience in teaching and tutoring English as a second language. I am currently a PhD researcher at King’s College London and run this tutoring business on the side, as I enjoy motivating students to learn new skills and overcome challenges.

I have studied English language and literature for all of my academic life and being multi-lingual (Fluent in Dutch and Sinhala), I understand how difficult it is to learn a language as a complete beginner. I am an empathetic and understanding teacher, but I also know how to push your limits and show you what you are capable of.
