About Me

I am a software engineer by profession and an educator by heart. I have been working passionately in the field of k-12 education as well as mental well being for school students.
I like interacting with students and their parents on a frequent basis to get fresh perspectives of what they picture as good education. I also conduct regular sessions on stress and anxiety management for students who feel any such need.
I am also an automobiles enthusiast, and hence spend my free time, following the latest developments in the market. I have got a thing for literary fiction as well!

Education

I have a 'bachelor of technology' degree in electrical engineering from IIT (BHU), one of the premier institutes in India. The 4 year curriculum had a vast exposure to Mathematics and physics apart from the core electrical engineering subjects. Studying from a prestigious institute, I can tell you one thing- your passion to learn is the only thing that will matter in the end.

It goes without saying that computer programming is an essential skill in the 21st century. The kids today are much more hooked to the computer devices and more technologically oriented in their thinking. Taking this a step further, I am introducing AI and Machine Learning concepts suitable to be taught to school students in the primary and middle school levels. This class will be a sure shot booster to the students' thinking, logical reasoning and problem solving skills. It is important that before joining this class, the student knows some amount of computer programming whether it's syntax based (Python) or block based coding (Scratch). I offer a course on Python as well, in case it's needed by the student since it's a prerequisite for this course. The course will be divided into multiple parts detailing the concepts behind AI, the AI project cycle, data acquisition, AI/ML modelling, execution and testing of the AI model. There will be an immersive journey into platforms like Teachable Machine by Google, PictoBlox by Stempedia, and Cognimates by MIT Media Lab. This course will be a launchpad for this super-active generation of learners, that doesn't get tired of exploring new stuff, to take their ideas a notch higher.
SAT is an important step in a student's education journey. With that in mind, I have designed this class to have an exclusive focus on SAT Math and empower the students to excel in the SAT math paper. Success in SAT is all about the right guidance, sufficient amount of practice, and comprehensive syllabus coverage, each of which will be key focus areas in this class. I will let the students in on a variety of lesser known concepts and tricks that will enhance their problem solving speed to a great extent. But most importantly the emphasis will be on building the right concepts and logic. There will be different approaches for the Calculator and No calculator sections and likewise for the different topics (Algebra, Geometry, Probability), and custom designed worksheets to hit exactly the right areas. My sole aim through this class is to enable students to ace SAT Math and also fall in love with Math!
I specialize in teaching math to students from grades 4 till high school. I am an avid math learner, teaching for the past 5 years, covering various boards like IB, IGCSE, CBSE, ICSE. Math is an essential part of basic education irrespective of the educational board or the country of education. It is foundational for the student's career ahead. My classes would be ideal for students of grades 5,6,7 and 8 that is middle school. The prime focus is on developing your thinking skills and removing the slightest strain of 'fear of math' by the end of the classes. You will be solving problems that students usually find tough, with ease and confidence. There will be surprise tests and quizzes, along with homework assignments. You will also get my self written reference material. So register now for a short demo. You'll enjoy learning.
These classes are focused to help students pursuing IBDP. The classes will be for both IB AA SL and AI SL math. The focus would be to clear the concepts and make problem-solving smooth. Along with practice problems, we will also solve previous year papers to get a good grip on the style of IB questions. Regular quizzes will be held. Help on IA will also be provided. We can work out the timings.

The book “Delftse Foundations of Computation” especially its second chapter will be the main source of our lesson, but other more in-depth books will be also covered if you want to improve even further on logical thinking. The topics in our lesson include: • Propositional Logic: Logical operators; Precedence rules; Logical equivalence; Implications in English; Exclusive or; Universal operators; Classifying propositions • Boolean Algebra: Substitution laws • Logic Circuits: Logic gates; Combining gates to create circuits; From circuits to propositions; Disjunctive Normal Form; Binary addition. • Predicate Logic: Predicates; Quantifiers; Tarski’s world and formal structures; • Deduction: Valid arguments and proofs; Proofs in predicate logic If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

Automation: empower your scripts, command line and programs to dance in perfect harmony with rythm of automation, turning complexity into simplicity
Automation hold great significance in today's world. We cannot perfoem every task manually. We need to generate the scripts which can do certain task automatically without human intervention. Thry can be run specific number of times, at specific time or at regular intervals as per requirement. Bash and python are mainly used for scripting. We will also cover topics like cronjobs, file manipulation, error and wxception handling and much more. The classes can be customised as per students level of understanding like beginner, intermediate or advanced.

Mathematics courses at middle school, high school, and preparatory level (ECG)
My mathematics lessons are entirely adapted to the objectives of each student. If the goal is to improve both the basic level and the academic results, I generally structure my sessions in two parts: a first part dedicated to a deep understanding of the course, essential to master the concepts in a sustainable way, then a second part devoted to targeted exercises, similar to those that the student may encounter in supervised homework or exams. I pay particular attention to the specific expectations of each: a student wishing to develop a real mathematical culture will be able to explore enriching exercises, sometimes outside the curriculum, to go further in their thinking. Conversely, a student looking to gain points will be offered methodical work focused on consolidating the course, solving typical exercises, and implementing effective strategies for assessments. Each student is unique, and so are my lessons.

This mathematics course is aimed at students in lower or upper secondary education who wish to strengthen their basic skills, fill in gaps or effectively prepare for an exam. We will work together on understanding key concepts (arithmetic, geometry, algebra, functions, etc.) through clear explanations, progressive exercises and a method adapted to the pace of each student. The goal is to restore confidence, develop logic and reasoning skills, and make mathematics more accessible and concrete. This course is also suitable for students in scientific, technical or linguistic fields who need regular or occasional support.

Intro to Programming and Computational Thinking with Python
Want to learn how to tell the computer to solve scientific problems, homeworks, create a basic AI (artificial intelligence), simplify your life by quickly processing thousands of files (text, web, Excel etc.), cook belgian fries, create your own game, prepare for a potential IT career or simply learn a different way of logical thinking ("algorithmic")? Then we are on the same page! This class does not have a predefined goal. You set the goal. Don't know it yet? No problem, I'm here to help. :) We can arrange a lesson, goal-setting, Q&A virtual meeting. The programming language of choice for this class is Python.

Academic Advising (Tutoring and private classes) in Philosophy
The type of course I teach is intended to clarify the difficulties related to the understanding and production of philosophical texts. "How should I approach this philosophical problem or text?" In what philosophical and historical context does this issue/problem fit? "What texts should I read?" How should I read them?" "How should I organize the information?" to communicate philosophical ideas?" are some of the questions I can help you solve.
