I offer individual Serbian lessons for everyone interested in learning the language. The lessons are adapted to the level of the student and the focus of the lessons is based on student ́s wishes, preferences or needs. The material for the lessons is prepared by myself with the help of books and in cooperation with the student. I am native Serbian speaker and linguist by education, thus I have necessary knowledge, methodology and experience for language teaching. I have Masters degree in French and Romance languages and literatures from the University of Ljubljana and Université libre de Bruxelles. During and after my studies, I was offering individual and also group language lessons, among others also Serbian language lessons in the European Parliament.

The Serbian language has produced many world-class literary works, and there have been many authors, musicians and scientists who are native Serbian speakers and were educated for a period in Serbia. A language originating in Old Slavic, it has been influenced by Turkish, Greek and Italian, which makes it unique. By learning Serbian, you will more easily immerse yourself in a very lively and rich culture, from religion to gastronomy, which is proud of itself and loved in the whole world. Serbian, recently known as Serbo-Croatian, is spoken in all the countries of the former Yugoslavia.

I teach Serbian, which is my mother tongue and also school and academic, for all levels. Vocabulary, grammar, phonetics, translation, written and oral skills. I vary the supports and methods according to the expectations and needs of my students. I create the supports according to the objectives and wishes of my students. My supports and methods: games, videos, grammar lessons and exercises, authentic documents ... Face-to-face or remote courses (Skype, zoom, teams, WhatsApp).

My classes are fun and creative. I use my podcast and lot of audio files from everyday life and literature. I have Bachelor in Serbian Language and Serbian/Bosnian is my mother tongue. I prefer to use social media and new technologies in teaching and learning but if students prefer traditional methods I can adjust it!
