Guitar/ Bass Lessons for Beginners in Montpellier and the Surrounding Area
From 42 € /h
I offer my services for guitar and/or bass lessons for beginners.
I adapt to your desires and your level to transform learning into pleasure.
What we will develop together:
• Learn to decipher pieces without sheet music.
• Work on tempo through percussive exercises to "feel" the music.
• Practice the scales so that you no longer have limitations on the fretboard.
• A little music theory to understand the theory
My philosophy: Patience, perseverance and above all a big dose of good humor! You never learn better than when you're having fun.
Private or group lessons.
Musically,
Luka

About Me
I started playing music at the age of 6 with the discipline of the violin and solfège, which gave me a solid theoretical foundation and ear.
As a teenager, I switched to the energy of the guitar, before finding my true love at 16: the bass.
Very quickly, my passion became my profession. I built up solid field experience by joining my first groups, then by evolving for 15 years within professional training programs.
What I am conveying today:
My experience of live performance: Knowing how to play in a group, maintain the "groove" and adapt to all contexts.
My versatility: From the precision of the classical violin to the efficiency of a professional bassist.
And finally, my teaching method: An approach based on the enjoyment of the instrument, without forgetting the theoretical foundations necessary to become autonomous.

Education
My academic journey began at the Pablo Picasso High School in Fontenay-sous-Bois, where I specialized in Art History. This cultural exposure naturally led me to the Sorbonne-Nouvelle University (Paris III) to deepen my theoretical knowledge in Musicology. This academic background, combined with my training as a professional violinist and bassist, allows me to approach music education with a historical, artistic, and technical perspective.
Experience / Qualifications
With a rigorous initial training in violin and music theory from the age of six, I developed a keen ear and a solid theoretical foundation. My specialization then shifted to the bass guitar, an instrument I played in professional bands for 15 years. My career is marked by extensive experience as a performing and studio musician, complemented by the successful teaching of my knowledge through music lessons. Today, I combine this technical mastery with my experience as a professional musician to offer practical, pedagogical bass and guitar instruction tailored to the realities of playing in a band.
