I teach you how to apply your critical thinking skills to any situation however we do this through literature and language analysis commonly known as the subject that we call English. Discussions of various different texts and books will take place.

You will learn to improve in your English in time for your year 6 SATs or GCSEs. Things included: - Going through past papers together - Correcting repeated mistakes the student makes - Covering essential content to fill in any gaps the student may have - Homework assistance

I'm a 2nd year university student at Warwick Business School, who has experience tutoring Maths and English at GCSE-level, of which I have had success with. The lower age gap between students and myself arguably allow for me to be a more compelling, engaging tutor, which is fundamental to the student's retention of knowledge and the general tutoring experience. I achieved 9s in all Maths, English literature and English language at GCSE-level study and As in both Maths and English literature at A-level study. With confidence, I can teach up to GCSE-level Maths and English. My aim will be to cover all areas that student desires/ feels is a weak point and to be fully exam prepared. If the first session you deem to be inadequate/ sub-par/ not optimal for the student I have no issue, as nothing is a sure thing, and everyone prefers different learning styles !
