Hello!

My name is Leanna. I am a former Secondary English teacher from Seattle, Washington and have a Bachelors degree in English Language Arts from the University of Washington, and a Masters Degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction from the University of Colorado.

This class is to support learners in reading and writing in English. I specialize in reading instruction, especially for dense literary texts, themes, and literary devices, as well as creative writing, essay writing, and writers workshops overall.

I am here to help anyone to understand texts better, improve academic writing, or provide services for writing workshops as a creative writing space.

I am currently studying at the Haute École de gestion and I would like to help students in math, English, homework as well and several languages in computer science. I have been teaching for the past 2 years. I learned during these 2 years how to help students and make them love the subject with different techniques. It all depends on the student so you have to know how he works and what his difficulties are.
