My name is Helene, I'm French and lived in China for 6 years.
During those years, I have learned Mandarin and obtained a degree in business Chinese from Jiaotong University ( Shanghai), and have professional experiences in China as well in marketing.

I'm available for private lessons ( max 2 students at a time - which of course will access to a special rate ;) )

I'm fully flexible in terms of the level and pace of my students and can adjust the level of the lessons accordingly, from Beginner to HSK 4.

I have tutors and trained several foreigners while I was in China (HSK exams & daily conversation in Chinese).

Hello parents! My name is Sandra. I am a native English speaker from New York State. I have a USA teaching license and a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Inclusive Education (Grades K-6 and Students with Disabilities) from the State University of New York at Fredonia. My experiences include teaching at primary international schools in Belgrade, Serbia for 2 years and 3 years at international schools in The Hague, Netherlands. I have worked at two IB primary schools. Alongside teaching at international schools, I have 8 years of experience teaching English. I also have experience teaching grade 1 and 3 in elementary schools in New York State. I have taught children from 2-17 years old and adults. For children who are fluent English speakers, tutoring can be given to further excel in particular areas. Subjects that interest the student such as science, history or world topics can be incorporated into the lesson to broaden their knowledge. Support can also be provided in learning organizational skills, research, and mini projects for older children. I am available to help with studying, homework, or school projects. For online learning, I use a variety of platforms, websites, educational games, and e-books to reach the learning goals of my students. Additional homework can be provided if requested.

I got a Mandarin qualification certificate during undergraduate study. Before that I worked as a volunteer Chinese teacher for a year to help kids with their homework. I have been an online Mandarin tutor since March 2020, during this time I gained more experience. I am quite patient and easygoing. In 2022, I was the top 1% Chinese on italki platform. My teaching materials will base on students’ need (exam, hobby, work etc.) Besides, I will add appropriate exercises to help students consolidate what they have already learned. My teaching style is relaxed and humorous. Teaching content will be adjusted based on the students' level. Beginners will focus more on listening and speaking, like pronounce four tones properly.
