Trusted teacher: --------------------------------ENGLISH BELOW---------------- - The double bass and electric bass are among the most important and versatile instruments in an ensemble, whether it is a funk, jazz, rock band or a classical orchestra. With me you can learn how to play the bass: from the most important basics, playing techniques, exercises and styles to the corresponding pieces and songs. Some of our goals could be technical preparation for playing certain pieces, playing in an ensemble, or just enjoying music. I studied double bass, instrumental and vocal pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and completed my master's degree at the Private University of Music and Art with honors. As an active musician and educator, I am versatile - I enjoy playing classical, jazz, funk and Latin music and teaching students who are interested in different styles of music. The double bass and the electric bass are among the most important and versatile instruments in an ensemble, regardless of the style – funk, jazz, rock band or a classical orchestra. Together we can learn the most important basics, playing techniques, exercises and of course, different styles, pieces and songs. Some of our goals could be the learning of a particular piece/song, the preparation for playing in an ensemble or just to have fun while playing. I have studied double bass-instrumental pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and received my Master's degree at the Music and Arts Private University with full marks. As an active musician and as a pedagogue, I open to different genres – I like to play classical, jazz, funk and Latin music and I enjoy a lot of teaching them. I am happy to hear from you!

Trusted teacher: I'm a highly qualified and experienced translator and a language teacher for German and Hungarian. Being a translator and a polyglot enables me to see languages and their grammar systems from a different angle than 'regular' Hungarian native speakers or school teachers. Based on my training and my regional expertise I also provide a variety of language support services for Hungarian. I have taught both in the private sector and in numerous language schools, adults and children of different ages. I can offer Hungarian to university level, for this is my mother-tongue, and German to B2 level since I live and work in Vienna for more than 20 years now. I came here to study and made my Bachelor's degree in Transcultural Communication and a Master's degree in Translation and Terminology Sciences at the University of Vienna then settled down with a good man and built a family. I also have a teaching qualification for 'German as a Foreign Language' from the University of Kassel in Germany, and didactic training on the renowned BERLITZ-method for 'Native Speaker Language Teachers'. Usually, I work from home, where I have a vast library of teaching resources such as worksheets, textbooks, picture dictionaries, flashcards, games, and lots of books for Beginners with Hungarian-German-English parallel texts, short stories for Easy Readers, etc. I use varying tutoring approaches, because no two learners are alike, whereby enjoyment is an important factor in my lessons. I very much like to use the latest technology and teaching techniques, but also have an extensive compilation of Hungarian language games, cards, songs, short stories, videos. I'm fond of and really appreciate internet sources to teach Hungarian, for I do believe that learning Hungarian can be fun. I aim to foster a friendly but professional relationship with each of my students, to build their confidence and self-belief when they learn a new language. Hungarian can be an extremely challenging language and as an experienced Hungarian tutor, I really can help you learn it. A private tutor is there to provide the support you need to enhance your language skills, especially your communication skills, and give you confidence in speaking the language. One-to-one language lessons can make grammar become far more accessible, together we'll sharpen your passive skills in reading and listening, and practice your active skills in speaking and writing. * Why choose me? * Native Hungarian speaker 20 years of teaching experience A multitude of Teaching/Learning Materials Explanation in English, German or Hungarian University trained translator and language teacher Flexible schedule, available also on Saturday and Sunday Very patient and always supportive, with a good portion of humor 1-to-1 classes in Vienna 2nd, outdoors in the city center, and online

Fun, relaxed English lessons with a native Oxford English speaker (Vienna)
Bryony

rating green star
I’ve been taking English lessons with Bryony to work on my speaking skills and accent and I couldn’t be happier with the progress so far. She has a really thoughtful and encouraging way of teaching. She notices the little details in pronunciation that make a difference, but never makes it feel intimidating. The lessons are always engaging and tailored to what I need. Highly recommend her if you’re looking to improve your spoken English in a relaxed but professional way!

Arabic lessons! (Fusha and Jordanian/Palestinian dialect) (Vienna)
Heba
rating star
rating green star
i may not have a comparison to other private-lesson-teachers, but Heba has what i want in a teacher: she's patient, with explaining as well as having me asking questions; she adjusts to my pace of learning, noticing when a little break is needed, without making the lesson too easy ...and she's a very sweet and uncomplicated person! ;-) also i benefit from her backround to get an overall view about the arabic language; i recommand to learn with Heba! :-)

ACCORDION LESSONS - for all ages and levels of experience (Vienna)
Vanja

rating green star
Vanya is a pleasant, energetic young man and, above all, a true professional! From the very first lesson he nurtured my son’s interest in the accordion, inspiring him to practice daily with genuine enthusiasm. For me, this motivation is the greatest result. I also appreciate the convenience of lessons at home, which makes the learning process even more enjoyable.
