About Me
I'm a PhD candidate in neuropsycholinguistics and consultant to private clients. My advisory clients include the House of Lords, the NHS, People Primetime International, the Manchester Metropolitan University, Falmouth University, the Emotional Intelligence Academy, the YMCA, the Y Club, the Castelfield Hotel, the National Citizenship Service, Equal Education, etc. My mentoring clients range pre-academic, academic, and professional contexts. My PhD research examines the composite language and communication phenomena of schizophrenia, as relative to figurative language processing, using experimental psycholinguistic methods; my master's dissertation focused on paralinguistics: blended displays (i.e. complex facial expressions) of emotion; and my bachelor's took the form of a stylistics combined honours (i.e. linguistics with creative writing). Hi, I am a young graduate in Italian literature with a great passion for teaching Italian. Through my lessons, I always try to convey passion, vitality and enthusiasm. Although I have been teaching for years as a tutor, I am now officially qualified to teach Italian language and culture with the aim of supporting anyone who wants to embark on a dynamic and fun learning path. I enjoy learning something new every day together with my students and I am happy to use my creative and communication skills to meet the needs of each and every one of them, regardless of age, level and final aims.
