Translated by Google. Click to view original.
Whether you're a beginner, want to learn at a professional level, or just want to be able to play a variety of tunes as a hobby, let's have fun learning together!
All levels are welcome.
I adapt to what you want to play!
(Classical, Film music, Jazz, etc.)

Beginning children will receive textbook-based lessons at a pace that suits them, so they can build strong skills.
Lessons include both performance and music theory, so you can learn in a balanced way.
I pay very close attention to the selection of teaching materials.
Having fun is the best source of growth, so I try to use a variety of techniques in my classes.

Those who have already played the piano, those who want to continue playing the piano as a hobby, those who want to start playing and those who are a little weak in reading music are also welcome.
I'll teach you tips for playing the songs you want to play and reading music faster.
Let’s develop your repertoire of songs together!

If you want to learn to enter the conservatory or professional level, we will approach the works together from different angles, such as score analysis and sound production!
I think these will be lessons that will bring you discoveries.

Our common goal: that I teach you how to learn any piece, in complete autonomy.

If you have limited availability, on-demand courses are also available.
I am also flexible in rescheduling classes.

Extra information

I studied in Paris for 5 years from 2018 (Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, class of M.Henri Barda), and now I have been living in Bordeaux since the end of August 2023.
I took the PIANO Performer course at Tokyo College of Music.
I obtained the Artist Diploma (Ecole Normale de musique de Paris in 2023).
I also held a chamber music diploma with unaimite and with the congratulations of the ENMP jury.
I had followed master classes in Paris, Nice, Munich and Finland, and given concerts in Paris and the Paris suburbs.

I have 10 years of teaching experience in Tokyo and Paris.
During my 5 years in Paris, I taught music with around fifteen students of all ages.

The teaching of my many teachers has had a great influence on the improvement and development of my own playing.
I too wish to pass on my knowledge, my techniques and my experience to students, an activity that I have carried out privately for around ten years.
It's a chance for me to see my students appreciate music and progress over time, and I find that particularly rewarding.

Private guitar lessons for every level: from basic chords to out of the box improvisation
Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Be sure to let me know if you have any questions and I will answer as soon as possible. See you soon! Richard PS: my specified hours are a guideline, if this does not suit you, you can certainly send us a message and we will try to arrange something :)

Piano lessons for all levels and ages
A conservatory graduate and music theory teacher gives piano lessons. All styles combined (classical, rock, accompaniment piano, etc.) Method suitable for the little ones 4-5 years old First course without obligation.

Professional jazz musician teaching jazz, blues, funk, R&B, pop, rock, latin and classical piano.
I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.

Getting to Grips with Music Theory is simpler than you think!
The theory of everything tends to be really scary and music theory can be too. I am very keen to make music theory easy for everyone. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable. Whether you want to understand a particular aspect of music theory or If you struggle with music theory in general, then this is the class for you - why not give it a try?
