Learn piano and singing with Vlad Alexandru, a professionally trained baritone, pianist, vocal teacher and experienced performing artist. With a Master’s degree in Singing and Vocal Pedagogy from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen and extensive experience in opera, concerts, recitals, church music and music education, Vlad offers personalised lessons adapted to each student's level and goals.
The piano lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as students who already have some experience. You will learn the fundamentals of piano playing, including reading music, rhythm, technique, coordination, scales, chords and basic repertoire, while gradually developing confidence and musical independence.
Voice lessons focus on healthy vocal technique, breathing, support, diction, resonance, musicality and interpretation. Students interested in classical singing, opera, art song or general vocal development can work on repertoire suited to their voice and experience.
Lessons can combine piano and voice, allowing students to develop both instrumental and vocal skills in a practical and enjoyable way. Whether you are starting from zero, returning to music after a break, preparing for an audition or simply looking to develop your musical abilities, the lessons are tailored to your individual needs.

Extra information

Lessons are individually tailored to each student's age, experience, musical interests and goals. Beginners are welcome and do not need previous musical experience.
Students may choose to focus primarily on piano, singing, or a combination of both. For piano beginners, the course starts with the fundamentals and progressively introduces music reading, technique, chords, rhythm and repertoire.
For singing students, lessons can include vocal technique, breathing, diction, interpretation and repertoire, with particular experience in classical singing and opera.
Lessons are available in English, Danish, Italian or Romanian.

About Me

I am a professional classical singer, pianist and music teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience and over 3,500 hours of individual lessons delivered to more than 250 students.
My musical background includes a Master’s degree in Singing and Vocal Pedagogy from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, a Bachelor’s degree in Voice, and previous studies in piano and voice at the “George Enescu” High School of Music in Bucharest.
As a teacher, I believe that every student is different. My lessons are personalised according to the student's level, age, musical interests and goals. I enjoy working with complete beginners as much as with more experienced students who want to develop their technique, prepare for auditions, improve their repertoire or simply become more confident musicians.
In piano lessons, I help students build a strong foundation from the beginning, including music reading, rhythm, coordination, technique, chords, scales and repertoire. In singing lessons, I focus on healthy vocal technique, breathing, support, resonance, diction, musicality and interpretation.
I have extensive professional experience as a baritone performing in opera, concerts, recitals and church music, as well as experience as a choir conductor, pianist and vocal teacher. I have also worked with international artists, conductors, orchestras and opera professionals through major classical music festivals and productions.
I speak Romanian, English, Italian and Danish fluently, and I also have proficiency in German, French, Spanish, Swedish and Norwegian.
Most importantly, I want students to enjoy making music while developing solid technical and musical skills. Whether you are starting from zero or looking to take your singing or piano playing to the next level, I will adapt the lessons to you.

These classes are designed for students with different knowledge of piano, from beginner to intermediate - advanced. Normally I use the Faber Piano Adventures method, useful for all ages and levels, but another method can be chosen depending on the learning style of each student. We start with pre-reading, introduction to the staff and reading of scores. You will learn in a fun and effective way how to read music. Also, comprehensively, you will learn about music theory and ear training. Additionally, you are free to propose songs of your liking, to learn them along with the method.

The therapeutic approach of the piano is one that is characterized by generating a musical practice with the piano focused on the well-being of the person who takes it. You can play a lot of music and with the best possible level, but "dislocation" is always treated as "getting out" of the ordinary and "productive" demands to dedicate time to playing the piano, leveling up but without mortifications, because the piano could also become a "monster" since there are very difficult piano pieces and issues.
