I was born and raised in the Eiffel part of Germany, think forests, wine and poor road infrastructure. English is my second language, which I learned mostly through heavy use talking with friends and relatives; I have extended family in America. I speak both languages at a native-level and write interactive stories as a hobby, which means my writing skills are not half bad either. My father teaches Chinese calligraphy (书法) as it is his passion. If you are interested in the art of calligraphy, the technicalities behind Chinese calligraphy (stroke order, harmony, correct strokes, etc.) and would love to hear more about the history behind calligraphy and the characters, this class might be something for you. Previous knowledge is not required but a basic understanding of Chinese characters (traditional or simplified) and a basis in writing would be helpful. However, we could build it up from scratch as well. Equipment can be provided during the classes (brush, ink and paper).
