Hello my name is Bill, I am an English native-speaker from England. I am a certified English trainer with a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University.
I have been living and teaching in Frankfurt for over 20 years and with my understanding of German (B2) I am able to support my clients in their training needs.
My training is both focussed and entertaining.
I always have the clients needs and goals in my mind when planning and delivering the lessons, along with making sure that there are moments of light humour along the way.
I am currently working online with business managers, financial experts and financial students studying here in Frankfurt. I have also have many clients in other areas including IT, Marketing and HR.

When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. My methodology: Learning to structure one's thoughts to express oneself better
My approach is based on a simple observation: success is not achieved through lack of effort, but often through a lack of method and confidence. My role is to transform subjects sometimes perceived as abstract (Philosophy, French) or intimidating (English) into concrete tools for success.

The typical course of a session:
1. Quick diagnosis: We start by identifying the areas of uncertainty from the previous lesson or the difficulties with a specific exercise.
2. Taking action: No boring lectures! We work on concrete exercises, essay plans or oral practice (in English) to "learn by doing".
3. The "Montreal Method": Having worked for two and a half years in Quebec, I use a North American pedagogy that is very focused on encouragement, clear structure and student autonomy.
