Ik geef vioolles aan kinderen en volwassenen, beginners en gevorderden.

Iedere leerling is uniek. Naast het ontwikkelen van een goede techniek kom ik graag de muzikale wensen en dromen van de leerling tegemoet. Viool leren spelen doe je samen!

Vanaf de eerste les geef ik veel aandacht aan het samen spelen, want samen musiceren is het leukste wat er is!

Naast de indiviuele lessen steun ik het spelen van mijn leerlingen bij orkesten, ensembles en bands. Ook zijn er meerdere mogelijkheden op te treden met begeleiding van een professionele pianist. Een keer per jaar organiseer ik met een aantal leerlingen een video-opnamedag voor wedstrijden en concoursen. Mijn leerlingen halen prijzen binnen, in Nederland en internationaal.

Naast de individuele lessen geef ik een SNUFFELCURSUS ' MIJN KLEINE VIOOL' voor kinderen, leeftijd 3-5. Deze cursus bestaat uit 10 lessen voor kleine kinderen, om kennis te maken met muziek en de viool. Ik geef deze cursus ook aan Engels- en Duitstalige kinderen.

Ik geef vioolles in vier verschillende talen: Nederlands, Duits, Engels en Italiaans.

Mogelijk zijn ook vioollessen aan huis.

Over Mij:
Ik ben violiste verbonden aan Nationale Opera&Ballet in Amsterdam. Ik heb met veel orkesten in binnen-en buitenland gewerkt. Daarnaast speel ik kamermuziek en braziliaanse choro ( Duo Chorinho, met Alvaro Rovira Ruiz gitaar). Ik heb een internationale opleiding genoten aan de conservatoria van Hamburg, Rome en Amsterdam.

Laten we samen dit prachtige instrument verkennen met stukken die jij mooi vindt. Ontdek verschillende manieren om hetzelfde instrument te bespelen en word een acteur op het muziektoneel... Laten we spellen maken om je creativiteit en techniek te ontwikkelen, spellen die je helpen om je manier van spelen te personaliseren. .

Met muziek leren we veel meer dan alleen stukken spelen. Ik heb altijd gedacht dat de oude Grieken muziek als een belangrijk schoolvak introduceerden. Muziek is bedoeld om te helen, te vermaken en om jezelf beter te leren kennen.
Ik heb onlangs mijn studie aan Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Rotterdam afgerond en ik kan niet ontkennen dat ik ook na het behalen van mijn diploma altijd zal blijven leren. Ik kijk ernaar uit om wat kennis met u te delen en te horen wat u al weet.

Wat kan ik bieden?

Hoe ik werk
Elke les wordt individueel voorbereid, rekening houdend met de doelstellingen van de student. Tijdens de eerste les kunnen we kennismaken en ontdekken we wat jij wilt en hoe ik jou daarbij kan helpen.
Voor BEGINNERS leer ik de strijkstok, vingerposities en andere basisvaardigheden met behulp van eenvoudige liedjes (bij kinderen voeg ik spelletjes toe om het leuker te maken). Hoe je schilderkunst met spel, dans met spel en literatuur met spel kunt verbinden.
Op het INTERMEDIATE LEVEL onderzoeken we, met een bepaalde techniek, hoe je liedjes speelt, hoe je een goed geluid vindt en hoe je je op je gemak voelt met het instrument.

Aanvullende activiteiten:
Eén keer per maand plan ik een repetitie met een pianist om te werken aan het cello- en pianorepertoire. Er worden ook bijeenkomsten georganiseerd met andere studenten om duetten te spelen. Het is heel belangrijk om met mensen te spelen en niet te blijven hangen in onze eigen individuele studies!

Bij mij kun je terecht voor vioolles, folklore, jazz (theorie), improvisatie technieken en ensemble coaching.
Samen gaan we op zoek naar jou muziek en creativiteit. Ik maak veel gebruik van (samen)spel en improvisatie, techniek is hierbij een handvat voor wat jij wilt leren.
Kennismaking met viool voor jong en oud, spelen met balkan ornamenten, op gehoor improviseren of juist verdiepen in harmonie of akkoordenschema's, dit zijn allemaal mogelijke onderwerpen in mijn lessen.
Mijn lessen zijn 30 of 45 minuten (niet strikt).

My name is Mariela, I am a classical singer, musicologist and singing teacher based in the Netherlands.

I have more than 10 years of experience in signing and choir teaching. My method is based on a healthy way of producing sound, trying exercises that benefit the student and that are a totally personal experience. The genre? Your decision! Classical or pop, the choice of repertoire is a two-sided exercise, both you and I create a portfolio that will not only test your voice but will excite you and make your study fun and enjoyable.
The classes are individual and last 45 minutes for teenagers and 1 hour for adults. They can be in person in Amsterdam (Oost) or Hilversum (NL) or online.

The lessons will delve into both the technical and musical aspects of piano playing, theory, reading music, harmony, ear training, technique, pedagogy and more. My aim is to equip students to understand different music styles, build confidence, discover their unique voice and continue their musical journey independently. As Thelonious Monk said, the piano ain’t got no wrong notes.

I'm passionate about traversing genres since I have studied both jazz and classical to a high level, making this class perfect for creative pianists and composers who want to go beyond reading music off a piece of paper. Trinity/ABRSM curriculum upto Grade 8, can also be optionally included. Teaching effective practice methods is a priority, ensuring students progress confidently and without leaning on me. Please note, I only teach in person to maintain high standards of guidance in technique. This is not possible via video conferencing. Since everyone asks: yes, I did study at Berklee College of Music as an undergraduate for some time, and I do help students out with their audition preparation for various music colleges!

He estudiado ópera y canto lírico desde los 12 años además de canto jazz, coral y de musicales. Llevo actuando en musicales desde el 2015
Estos estudios me han dado un montón de herramientas para poder adaptarme a lo que cada alumno necesita y quiere, porque lo principal es que no dejemos de disfrutar de la música.

Mis clases están basadas en tres fundamentos. El primero es tener un método claro, que parte del funcionamiento real de la voz, la fisiología (lo que dice la ciencia sobre cómo usamos el cuerpo para cantar) y que se puede aplicar a cualquier persona, paso a paso y con sentido. Siempre pongo en primer lugar la salud vocal del alumno, y me apoyo en lo que está comprobado científicamente. Uso un lenguaje sencillo, sin tecnicismos innecesarios, para que todo sea fácil de entender y tenga lógica.

El segundo es lo emocional y psicológico. Para mí es clave conectar con la persona que tengo delante, entender cómo piensa, cómo se percibe, qué le bloquea y qué le motiva. Así puedo adaptar las clases a su manera de ser y a sus objetivos. Intento crear un ambiente relajado, con respeto, confianza y también sentido del humor, donde cada uno se sienta libre y cómodo. No todos nacemos con la voz que nos gustaría, pero todos podemos desarrollar lo que tenemos, y en ese camino el canto se convierte también en una forma de conocerse y aceptarse mejor.

Y el tercero es la entrega y la seriedad con las que vivo este trabajo, que me apasiona de verdad.

Todas las clases se dividen en el calentamiento y vocalización, la segunda parte estará dedicada al trabajo de una obra adaptada al nivel del alumno y al estilo que más le guste. Independientemente del estilo y del nivel se establecerá una base de canto lírico.

My violin classes are open to people of all ages and levels. You may have used to play the violin many years ago and are trying to get back at it but don't know how, you may have just started and you're looking for a teacher that can guide your first steps, you may be looking for regular coaching for an already developed sense of musicality — my classes accommodate all of the above and more.
Most of my pupils are already intermediate students who are dedicated to becoming the young violinists of the future, but that doesn't mean my class isn't for you if you are simply looking for a hobby! Music is about having fun together!

To learn how to sing, you will need to learn two aspects: the technical aspect related to body awareness and the purely musical aspect of language. My teaching method is based 50% on technique and 50% on practice:
the first part of the lesson will be dedicated to exploring vocal techniques and body awareness
the second half will be spent singing your favourite songs, gradually putting into practice what we have done previously.
Every student is different, and singing is the most subjective instrument there is, as it is composed of flesh and bones, so the lessons will be tailored to your needs.

Hello! I’m Leticia, a professional soprano from Cuba, now living in Amsterdam. I’ve spent years teaching at the National Conservatory of Music in Cuba, performing as a soloist, with choirs, and in ensembles of various formats, sharing stages nationally and internationally. My experience spans classical, jazz, salsa, and traditional Cuban music

I’ve just arrived in Amsterdam and I’ve recently started learning Dutch and I am getting more confident in English. Even though I’m working on many personal goals, what truly drives me is the desire to work especially in the field I love and have dedicated so many years of my life to, helping students of all ages discover their musical voice, whether it’s singing, playing piano, or understanding music theory.

I strive to make every lesson fun, pleasant and most importantly comfortable for each student’s pace and process. Every class becomes a shared journey of learning and exploration, where enjoyment and inspiration come first. My goal is to help you grow with confidence and discover the full potential of your musical voice.
