Any age or level is welcome. I have taught children from 4 years of age to adults of 72 years of age; one-to-one lessons or in pairs or small groups. Classes are conducted online via WhatsApp or Zoom. In our first online lesson, I would like to find out a little bit about yourself and your reasons for needing English lessons. When I know what you wish to achieve, I can adapt the lesson materials to focus on exactly what you want to do. I'm active in many different genres myself, which is why I can teach a wide variety of things on the cello :) It's important to me to create a learning atmosphere where both student and teacher feel comfortable. Student and teacher should meet as equals, as learning is most effective in a trusting environment. Where do I come from musically? It has always been important to me to explore all the possibilities my instrument offers. And to be honest, I'm not finished yet; the cello has so many facets to discover! I've already tried many different styles. I completed my Master's degree in Contemporary Music at the Basel Academy of Music in 2025. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Artistic Pedagogy in Freiburg. This gives me a solid foundation for teaching the instrument in a playful way and for unlocking the creativity of my students. Can you also find me on stage? Yes, mostly with my jazzy indie-pop band "Partiprivati". We write our own songs and I'm usually responsible for a good bassline :) But also with Percaso String Quartet, with whom we only play string quartet works by women.
