I enjoy teaching because of the variety of people I get to meet. It offers me the opportunity to learn about new cultures and more importantly, help people achieve their goals relating to English language use.

I am a patient and understanding teacher who encourages questions. Quick and repetitive correction; lots of discussion; fun and familiar topics. I believe in broadening the mind so you will also read and discuss an article that focuses on a topic which you know little about, but learn new vocabulary and gain insight.

I have along (administrative) background in Law, having worked as a Legal Secretary for 16 years. I also have a passion for wellness/meditation and overall mental health.

I believe in student centred classes; student input being encouraged.

My tutor successes are those Eureka moment when things finally fix together; also those moments when a student discusses a successful presentation and their confidence to not only make the presentation but make comfortable small talk; their passing of an exam or indeed travel to an English speaking country. Moreover, they have either gained promotion or landed that dream career change.

When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
