Maths tutoring for any student hoping to improve their grade in their exams. As a recently completed A-level student who obtained a level 9 grade (A*) at GCSE and has a predicted A* at A-level, the course is fresh in my mind to teach new students. My mentality when teaching is always to break down any difficult ideas and make sure the student understands where they come from before proceeding. Once the idea is properly understood it is merely a matter of practice with maths, using past papers.

I have full access to the topics to be covered in each year group in Maths and am happy to mirror and match that which is being completed termly at school as well as focusing on more challenging topics. Each lesson will begin with Arithmetic questions for fluency.
Reading comprehensions and grammar will be taught according to what is required for each year group and finally with a focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar practise papers as will be completed during SATs. I cover a variety of comprehension style questions that are inline with SATs and will cover all the skills required including word meaning, retrieval and inference questions across non fiction, fiction and poetry examples.
