I am available for you, your relative or your friend online and in Den Haag. I teach adults of all levels and ages, including seniors. I'm Tom, and I've been teaching English since 2013. Originally I'm from the south of England, and I've been happily living in the Hague since 2021. Before this I lived in Taiwan and mainland China. I speak a bunch of languages besides English, like Mandarin, Finnish, some French, and a little Japanese – and now of course I'm learning Dutch! ⭐ English for Adults of All Levels and Ages My classes are light-hearted, relaxed and always interactive. People learn best when they’re enjoying themselves and feeling deeply interested, and that is my promise to you. I will correct your mistakes, but I will never shame or embarrass you for making them. My class is a place where people come to feel good and grow confidence. You can decide what you want to do in our class. Tell me in advance, and I'll spend time preparing interesting materials. For example: • conversations with feedback and corrections (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation) • help with reading and writing • understand and practise grammar • learn idioms and natural language with context • prepare you for visits abroad or conversations with foreigners • creative activities like games I'll teach you the differences between formal and informal phrases so that you use them in the right situations. I highly recommend Pieter as teacher. My daughter had difficulties with the English lesson at the school. He gave lessons to her intensively during two months and her test scores increased significantly from 4/5 to 8/9. Had my first lesson with Cuihong and really enjoyed it. She helped me with basic pronunciation (so good help for a complete beginner like me) and taught me some interesting tidbits. She was also very quick and reliable to answer my mails through Apprentus, and is a friendly person. Looking forward to continuing lessons with her!
