I am a dancer and I studied for two years at an American college, continuing my studies in English. Living in the United States allowed me to practice the language daily, in real-life situations, and to master spoken and written English. Back in Fribourg, I want to share my passion for English and help you understand it better. My lessons are designed to allow for rapid progress while making learning enjoyable and motivating. :) I offer English tutoring for students needing help with homework, test revision, grammar, and for those preparing for the B2 test. I bring practical advice and my American experience to make learning more effective and motivating. I primarily target children and teenagers who want to improve their English while gaining confidence in the language.

I offer tutoring tailored to all levels, from primary school to post-secondary studies, as well as to adults. The courses are suitable for students needing occasional support as well as those experiencing more persistent difficulties, including students with special needs. Each lesson begins with an analysis of the student's needs and objectives. The work focuses on understanding the material, reviewing fundamental concepts if necessary, practicing through targeted exercises, and developing effective study methods. I pay particular attention to adapting the pace and explanations to each student's individual learning style. Drawing on my experience in schools, private tutoring, and specialized settings, I prioritize a supportive, structured, and challenging approach aimed at strengthening students' understanding, independence, and confidence. Lessons can be conducted in person or online, depending on individual needs.

This course is aimed at beginner and intermediate students of classical violin, jazz and contemporary music. For beginner students: We cover technical elements such as violin and bow positioning and holding, bow movement, left-hand placement, scales, and positions. We also work on developing ear training and rhythm. We may also introduce basic music theory concepts, such as reading notes. Finally, we work on learning pieces, according to the student's desires and musical styles. For intermediate students, here are different approaches depending on their musical styles and desires. For jazz and improvised music: scales or arpeggios that can be played on a given chord, modes and their use, rhythm, improvisation exercises, phrasing (swing, Latin, funk, etc.), learning jazz standards, how to amplify on stage, etc. For classical music: scales and arpeggios, technical exercises for the left and right hand, how to put together a piece, musicality and interpretation.

My name is Davide, and I'm a researcher with a doctorate in theoretical physics. I've taught at the university level and supervised undergraduate and graduate students, particularly in theoretical physics and mathematics. I especially enjoy teaching: making concepts clear, developing effective study methods, and helping students become more independent learners. I also tutor high school seniors (preparing for their final year of secondary school) in mathematics, using a structured, progressive, and comprehension-oriented approach based on concrete examples and numerous exercises.

Hello ! Having acquired my Federal Maturity certificate by correspondence in 2021 (all courses learned self-taught), I can accompany a student in learning the branches of the Maturity but also with regard to administrative aspects. Especially to manage the registration for the Federal Maturity by correspondence which requires a lot of time and different papers. Having already been there, I can gladly help you and save you hours of trying to find information from right to left. I can of course also help you in writing a Maturity work. I have at my disposal several books and exercise books from the EPSU (School of preparation and university support) specially written for the federal maturity. They are very complete. I know they are very expensive and I can gladly lend them for exam preparation. I also have several books and documents used in the gymnasium and especially old Federal Maturity exams from the years 2015 to 2020 that I had also bought. So I have the necessary equipment to give quality lessons and exercises. I did my Maturité with a specific option in Economics and Law and a complementary option in Philosophy. My strong subjects are economics, physics, French and English but I also do very well in the other subjects.
